@@ZakHorrocks ERRA is incredible, but there was a missing aspect in there new album IMO. Felt alot closer to Ghost Atlas than ERRA, but I can't fault your opinion because they are one of the best bands around.

Honestly couldn't think of a better band to introduce metalcore to someone. This band is quite honestly one of the greatest of all time in the genre, and I absolutely love what they've ascended into with Vik. It's perfection, he brings those Aviana vibes with him. The emotional deliverance of this song in particular got you in your feels about that one special person you wished it could of been different with, no need to lie or hide it. Scream it out loud like Marcus. Keep on bringing these tracks where we wanna rock out/cry at the same time IA, we love it.
They could have ascended even just creating instrumentals😅

These guys were robbed so fucking hard. They had EASILY the best album of 2023. Dont get me wrong, I love Sleep Token, but holy SHIT this band made the most perfect album.
I liked both Heavener and TMBTE, but Heavener had A LOT more replay value, for me at least.

The more I listen to this song, the more it grows closer to being on the level of their title track, Heavener. It's beautiful, and still somewhat heavy. Hits in all the right ways. And once again, IA forever 🙌
Heavener was my AOTY last year, as I'm sure with a lot of people, but this is a nice continuation of what I felt when I did my first listen. Awesome work as always gentlemen!

Favorite band since Everchanger dropped in 2014. Heavener is a top 3 favorite album of all-time for me. Haven’t gone one day without listening to it since it was released. These dudes are so talented. Give them more and more love and recognition. They deserve it!✨❤️

😁 Had ABR’s Constellation’s at 3rd for the longest time, but Heavener knocked it out, and Heavener has actually surpassed LINAWR for me right now, which had been my favorite album since 2008. That’s how much I love this album and band. Flat Out Perfection! Everchanger is closely behind at 3rd. An iconic debut album that really got me through when my Grandmother was struggling with Alzheimer’s disease. My parents and I took care of her for 4+ years while she was fighting it, and she was up wandering countless of nights. Think the term was called “sundowning”. I would go countless of days and nights just replaying Everchanger non-stop with tons of coffee. “Without A Whisper” hit me right in the feels the day it was released, because I connected with it so much. My Grandmother passed in July of 2015 from the disease. All of my other Grandparents have passed as well. Lost my step-Grandmother to Parkinson’s back in February. Invent Animate has helped me through a ton!🙂
Dude the lyrics represent my last relationship, I was the first to end a relationship I was always the one to get left behind, but I had to go, no matter what I did for her all she would do is tell me “You don’t care about me, you do everything cuz you feel obligated to, you don’t make me a priority”, I did so much for her changed, first week of us dating I helped her move, I went to see her times when she “didn’t” want to see me and was happy when I was there, I was always there for her, she never showed up for me she just kept taking and taking from me and never thought of us just her when I thought of us, she tried ending things three different times just when we had small misunderstandings and lashed out me tell me “I don’t need you, everything’s about you, you make things difficult” no matter what I did nothing was ever good enough for her, and ending things hurt, not cuz I was sad about the break up cuz I held my tongue so often from going off on her and gave her so many chances when she told me “can I take back what I said or I didn’t mean it” and when I cut all contact off with her she tells me one last thing “Your the most disappointing person I’ve ever met in my life thank you for saving me from you” even her own friends told her I was the best guy she’s been with in a while I’m sorry to spew this on her but this lyrics. Captivate what I feel rn, anger and learning to let go of the hurt and anger she put me through I was told by a friend recently that this was a form of verbal abuse idk how true it is but I’m letting go slowly of the anger and hurt, the suffocation of trying to constantly be better for someone is gone but I’m still healing if your still reading this I hope if you been in my situation or similar to it your doing ok and we’ll be ok smile always 🙏🏼❤️

Walking down a beach with this playing is such a euphoric experience. This at night with the moon in the backdrop, the water receding and climbing at my feet. Looking out a seamlessly never ending ocean.

What a vocal perfomance! Markus continues to really expand his vocal abilities/bring in other influences, as with the band and their sound too. Really cool to hear them show more of their softer side, or combine it so seemlessly with their heavy side 🤘

In my opinion they hare nothing alike in terms of genre as well.
Invent are a more metalcore oriented, that Sleep are!
In fact sleep mixes a lot of different genres like rap and pop, you dont see that on invent.
To me both great and completely different bands/generes like I said.

Greatest band of all time
Absolutely beautiful. IA are one of the few progressive metal bands that can make a more accessible, less heavy song and it still be a masterpiece. For instance, Without A Whisper, Heavener, and now this one.
Other great examples are Periphery (Satellite, The Way The News Goes, Garden In The Bones, Mile Zero, Wax Wings), ERRA (Vanish Canvas, Unify, Orchid, Nigh To Silence) and Animals As Leaders (Another Year, The Brain Dance, Para Mexer, Gestaltzerfall, Private Visions Of The World)
All of these bands step away from the djenty headbanging goodness every once in a while and I'm so glad I'm alive to experience some of the best metal in the genre.
