This is the very best tutorial for making a cargo net, you give great instructions, plus you use different color ropes & nice closeup video. Thank you much!!!
How do you size the rope strands. Say, for simplicity's sake, you want 10'x10' of cargo net, with 6"x6" webbing? Would we need like 12' strands? Or way less than that?
Could you explain where to start on the net? I'm assuming you start at one corner. Do you cut all the lengths of rope? Or do you keep one continuous rope through the home thing? Thank you!
Gladly. You must start in a corner. In the example shown in the video, it is necessary to at least have one of the two ropes cut to the chosen length in each line. The other piece of rope may remain whole and will zigzag through the net. ps. there is a form to use a single rope length which would weave different than the example shown. I may make a video of how to do that style later on.
This is an excellent video. I noticed on this row of knots that you showed us how to tie it the white rope is on the bottom and on every alternate row the white rope is on the top. Does this help with the strength and integrity of the cargo net? And do you just tie those knots in reverse, with the black loop starting over the white rope?
Thank you for making this simple video. Everyone else even makes it too complicated or talks their ass off before even making one knot. Or has a stupid britt accent
Very nice your tutorial sir

Can you show the whole net? I can’t figure out how to tie up the ends of the rope.
That's what I need too.
is it possible to make this with only two ropes?
how do you weave one with just a single rope?
Thank you! Nice work!!
Thank you for this video
Please full video net

Thank you! I'm about to make one for child proofing a loft space. I think I'll add a square wood/plywood to easily maintain distances. 🍻
Wouldn't it make it a lot easier if you took a full sheet of plywood and scaled it out?
please tell me 250cm × 270cm how much rope do you need? need to do 2 ropes or one whole?
That was very good, thanks!
what material is the rope?
The rope is of a nylon material. Best regards
Nice!
Gracias

How long rope do i need for 2 meter square ?
If you want a 3 by three think probably about 14-16 meeters total
At 15cm spacings you will need 60 meters of rope
I have 500 MT cargo net rope
