She did quote Louis XV "apres moi le deluge" which translated "after me , comes disaster" that was the same quote that the serial killer Andrew Cunanan used in his year book and we all know how that ended !
@Dave Gordon lol Fred’s imitation of Behar is so good😂 I once walked right past Fred on the sidewalk in Downtown Portland, and I wanted so badly to say “So what? Who cares?” But I didn’t.
Everybody knew who Osama Bin Laden was since way before 9/11. He had even done interviews. Which is why it shouldn’t have come as such a shock that he would have done something against the US. He’d been talking about it for years!!
The View (as in the actual show) was good in its earlier seasons with Meredith Vieira, Star Jones, Lisa Ling, and Debbie Matenopoulos as co-hosts. Would be nice to have them back full-time vs what the show currently has now. The View went in a completely different direction after Barbara Walters retired, and EP Bill Gettie was let go from the show. Sherri Shepherd, Rosie Perez, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Paula Faris, and Candace Cameron Bure were okay co-hosts. Didn't particularly care for Jenna McCarthy, Raven-Symone, Nicolle Wallace, and Michelle Collins. Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Rosie O'Donnell, Meghan McCain, Ana Navarro, and Sunny Hostin made the actual show unwatchable and not interesting.
@@mrsdsparky And I didn't criticise the character, agreed? And by adding "just saying" one could come to the conclusion that it's just that - an addition, not a criticism.
I love that Debbie had a great sense of humor and was able to go along with the joke. Super classy and well done!
Classy? She was lucky to get a gig!
The "Drag your little Greek ass back to MTV" line had me DYING laughing.
"Ladies, let me tell you, i haven't felt this girlishly giddy since I was 70!" 😄😄😄😄
Hahahaha
"I've always wanted to do a show with four strong, intelligent women. And someday, I still might!" 😄😄😄😄
That was SO FUNNY
As relevant today as it was all those years ago.
RIP Babs
😂😅😂
Props to Debbie she made the most of it
And that was a great pratt fall
"I've always wanted to do a show with four strong, intelligent women, and someday I still might..." haha! Cheri was so great at this!
1:27 is the best moment, I love how Tracy would always use that line, "I am a lawyer" 🤣
I always thought he was the unsung hero of these sketches. His comments after the conversations die down were always hilarious.
Molly, Cheri and Ana! Three hilarious badasses to get to come of age watching! #90sKid
Ugh I miss those days.
Who’s playing Debi
@@JohnC-er3rg That's actually Debi!
Watch Cheri’s face during Debbie’s speech at the end.
3:39 is everything!
Love cheri, what a talent and so beautiful
Thank you SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much for posting this! I can STILL recite it from the VHS days ;-)
Well the deluge did come in the form of Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Meghan McCain.
She did quote Louis XV "apres moi le deluge" which translated "after me , comes disaster" that was the same quote that the serial killer Andrew Cunanan used in his year book and we all know how that ended !
Andrew Cunan from the SNL Switcheroo sketch
Yes I am a lawyer! lool
I love that someone went back and put chapters on this
“I was at a make your own sundae party last weekend with Osama bin Laden...”
🍨 😂
Its funnier that this was in 1999. Little did they know...
Classic SNL cast! Lots of laughs!
"Yes, I AM a lawyer."
Big fuckin deal
Tracy and Cheri were spot on but Fred Was a much better joy
@Dave Gordon lol Fred’s imitation of Behar is so good😂 I once walked right past Fred on the sidewalk in Downtown Portland, and I wanted so badly to say “So what? Who cares?” But I didn’t.
@@yellowmelancholy4875 Coffeeland! 🤣
I thought both ana and fred did a great job
Cheri really elevated these sketches.
Fred Armisen is so much better
"So what, who cares?"
3:14 the best part! 🤣🤣
She was a good sport
How many years later and it’s still a train wreck?.......except for this episode lol
I miss Molly Shannon!!!!!!!
This was 1999... Osama Bin Laden... *WTF!*
I was wondering that too
He was known back than.
Everybody knew who Osama Bin Laden was since way before 9/11. He had even done interviews. Which is why it shouldn’t have come as such a shock that he would have done something against the US. He’d been talking about it for years!!
He was mentioned in the movie Hannibal released in Feb 2001.
4:04 LMAO 😆😆😆😆
Debbie made the show fun and relatable. I stopped watching after she left and so did many others.
Not enough people stopped as this show has been going for over two decades now with no signs of slowing down.

0:05, 😆
Is that really Debbie?
Yes
Yes. She's had a bad nose job since.
That quote was from Louis XV, however. A R
The Bin Laden joke hasn't aged well
Tracy Morgan as “I’m a lawyer” Star Jones has me in stitches 😂
He always killed it in these sketches.
I didn't know The View existed in the 90s. I heard about it in like 2015.
This is genius skit. Never saw it.
Matenopoulos is misspelled in the description.
Who's the actress playing Debbie?
ITs actually her.
Molly Shannon, Cheri Oteri, Ana Gasteyer, Tracy Morgan, Debbie as Debbie.
@1:47 cue x-files music
21 years ago, SNL writers NAILED that awful show, and it still airs. Pathetic, MSM, just pathetic
Ummm, we’re still watching it. But please, go on about the mainstream media.
@@stupid8911 literally on a msm platform. Hahah. The ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️ aren't smart. Just mad.
Wow the bin laden joke did not age well.
Debbie may be coming back.
What happened to Barbara singing the intro.
Wow that's trippy....mentioning Osama Bin Laden like that...........
This is when The View was good.
Tracey Morgan MVP
25 years later, Debbie is still annoying.
Annoying and boring.
"Après moi le déluge" was Louis XV., not XIV. Just saying.....
I think you missed the joke. She’s playing a dumb version of herself. You didn’t catch that at all? lol
@@mrsdsparky Yeah, I'm quite sure most Americans know that it was actually Louis XV. and laugh their asses off about this obvious joke.......
@@reniasva they might not know that specific detail but it’s not important to the character…
@@mrsdsparky And I didn't criticise the character, agreed? And by adding "just saying" one could come to the conclusion that it's just that - an addition, not a criticism.
Great sketch. Hah, they don't do them ...
It seems to me that fall was real
Whatever happened to her? Wait... I don't want to know. She disappeared. Thats all I need.
She is doing a home and family type show with Cameron Mathison on, I think, The Hallmark Channel.
This is the staff that ruined Saturday night live
Louis the XV
This is nuts.
I forgot they had Tracey in drag bc they had NO BLACK FEMALE cast members.
Nuts
Hey look funny women
that was super unfunny
