I've seen Nemophila live twicer now (with another show coming up here in Sapporo in a couple weeks). I'm an old guy and I've seen a LOT of bands over teh years (and played in a bunch, too). Nemophila are one of the best - if not THE best - live band I've ever experienced. They've got the whole package: mad chops, a versatile repertoire to chose a setlist from, and the rare, magical ability to take their incredible internal chemistry and communicate it to the audience. I say this all the time ('coz it's true): you come away from a Nemophila show with an "I was just in the presence of greatness" vibe. And yeah...Tamu-san absolutely drives the band's live sound (as a great drummer should).
This was so cool :D I've heard this song somewhere before, but it was definitely the studio version. I almost didn't recognize it like this, but in a good way.
this is definitely in my top 3 favs of theirs. Loved Haraguchi=sun's "Hai"" at the end. think they all are improving and this is just heavy as hell. love it.
Its a great song live. Now they need to do it with Yukina from Hanabie again. Now that was Sweeeet. Nemophila's latest cover EP release has made their YT subs go berserk lately. Great marketing tool.
