I don't have any children, but if I got to open up a bunch of presents for my two daughters for "Father's Day" it would be the happiest time of my life. I'd know they had a happy time buying for me and I'd rejoice about all of it and put the toys on the floor of my office or library room so they'd be happy to go in there to see me. I'm sure by day two the toys would all be in their room and I could tease them for taking my toys.

It reminds me of the time I PROMISED my then one and four year old granddaughters that I would take them to Toys R US and they could get anything, yes anything, they wanted! Fiona, who was 4 at the time, hit the front door running and, in less than five minutes, had managed to put over $400.00 dollars worth of toys in the shopping cart! When I told her that we kind of had to stop, she cried and said, "But Mom-Mom, you PROMISED!" I learned a very expensive lesson that day!

I think at some point mom spoke to them about not needing to take all of what was in the cart. So I think in the end they had an agreement.
