I was fully aware that a giant battle would take place at the end of Metro Last Light. I was told and even saw it in RUclips videos. However, when playing the game myself for the first time, NOTHING could have prepared me for the Battle for D6. The entire game has been shaping up to this massive battle that would take place, and when it finally happened, it paid off. That’s just one example of a great moment in the Metro franchise. Despite being only three games long, Metro has many memorable moments, such as leaving the Metro and entering the Dead City for the first time, discovering and exploring D6 (and the monstrosity inside), defending stations from waves of mutants, climbing to the top of Ostankino Tower, escaping the concentration camp with Pavel, exploring the Kremlin and the library, witnessing the war between the Red Line and the Fourth Reich, crossing the quarantined station, fighting the bear, and then finally participating in the Battle for D6. And all that goes without mentioning Metro Exodus. Basically, the Metro games are less about the gameplay, and more about the story and the places you visit. It’s a walking simulator, and it’s not for everyone, but for those who like Metro, they really, REALLY like it.
Man I really cried through the C'est la vie Ending. It was so glorious and bittersweet. It was only after some time that I found out there's another ending which later turned out to be canon.
Metro is shining beacon of hope in a genre plagued by “modern gaming”. It’s ironic to me that the year bungie said goodbye to my favorite franchise, my new favorite would be born
Exodus saves Anna and Artyom's relationship in Last Light. They really feel like a true couple in Exodus and it makes the player actually care about her.
well i was kinda caring for her in last light, i mean im just now playing for first time n she just got took by lesnitsky to the catacombs and well...... (in artyoms voice)"im going to go find lesnitsky then im going chop off his man hood and put in his mouth cause i am artyom number 1 russian gangster before apocalypse they will respect my name"
The Metro franchise has made me love storytelling games. The perfect and gripping story throughout the games has allowed me to truly feel a bond between the characters. Lately, the A Plague Tale games have come in a close second.
when i first played metro 2033, i accidently beat it on Spartan hardcore and survival, thinking they were the regular difficulty. i got my ass kicked, but dear god, i enjoyed it so much at the end of the game
Before S.T.A.L.K.E.R II comes out, I'm absolutely replaying the Metro games. I love these games, so much, and even just typing this comment im already excited to replay the series.
Unless you crammed all of the 48 hours in those two days into gaming I feel you may have missed something. Metro exodus is my favourite game and you can only have one truly favourite game.
A great video where I found myself agreeing to a lot of your opinions. (apart from last light)Even though we already discussed this, at face value there seems to be no character progression, that would actually be because a lot of it is through Artyom's journal (which you did not read) and through 'offscreen' progression. Saying Anna went from disliking you to liking you all the sudden wouldn't be entirely correct as at the start she doesn't see you as "worthy" but later sees your potential let's say, towards the end of the game where she opens up to Artyom in hopelessness due to the virus. While I can agree that the karma system isn't the best it's not "terrible". I know people that have played it once for the first time and got the good ending. Though I can agree that the karma is a bit ambiguous in how it wants you to actually attain the points (i.e explore this area or listen to this dialogue bla bla bla) Could say a lot more but I can't be bothered lol, otherwise good video and I can see where you're coming from. Also blud did NOT give a tier list at the end of the video 😂
Finally someone made a metro video in 2024. I played Metro 2033 and Last light over a decade ago, and I can say they are my most favorite FPS games of all time. From the moment where you get attacked by all the monsters on the rail car, to exploring the different factions and D6, the environment and story is just perfect. I do agree that Metro Last light has a weak karma system, and I don't think they will do that in the next game. On Metro Exodus though, only enjoyed it until the desert level, which things just fell apart after that. The story was alright, but the sound was a little rough and I think the Metro series was supposed to remain in the Metro, because of its atmosphere and claustrophobic levels. Don't get me wrong, the many people that live in other parts of Russia add a lot of lore, but since the game turned into a fetch quest, I quickly became disinterested. The DLCs for exodus were pretty cool though, especially the people of Novosibirsk one. So thank you for creating the video man. Many people need to find this series and the world it has to offer.
I loved playing Metro Exodus on my first playthrough. But on my second playthrough, the faults in the game started to show a little bit. Specifically its ammo economy with guns that aren't shotguns. Enemies are bullet sponges compared to the previous Metro games. I remember facing that problem during the first playthrough but didn't really have a problem with it since it was all so new to me. When I started my second playthrough I was like "oh yeaaaah...." awkwardly and fell back to my old habit of tapping the trigger with the Gatling gun. Which I highly recommend by the way. It seems the developers were expecting us to spray and pray that gun and didn't anticipate us firing single shots or bursts with it.
I have reservations about the story of Exodus, and its open world gameplay, but Ill take it over ANYTHING released these days. Theres something about the series that will stick with me forever.
You need to look harder, there are gems but they're harder to find. Cyberpunk is finally polished and it has no loading screans when compared to Starfield
Replaying the whole trilogy on ranger hardcore right now, finished metro 2033 and nearly done last light. My memory never serves this game justice, whenever I replay it the game is better than I remember - maybe because of ranger hardcore. But I replay this trilogy ever few years or so, and I end up always wanting more. I mod fallout 4 to be as much like it as possible, or play S.T.A.L.K.E.R which are all good alternatives but just aren’t the same. Only two missions I don’t like in the whole trilogy. Love it so much, great video!
I already had played them when they came out first time, however i didnt had them on current gen console except for exodus which gave me an free next gen update lol, however today i saw an psn sale of metro collection with redux 2033 and last light and exodus including all dlc for 8 euros, i bought it 😅😅😅😅
Whenever I think about my time playing metro exodus one thing comes to mind. While wandering in the first frozen area on the banks of the volga river I hear music playing and two people arguing. I go over and find it's a father and son the sun believes in the anti technology cult inhabiting the area and the father does not. He's been able to repair this radio and is enjoying some music while his son is trying to tell him how it's a sin. I hosted my weapons and walk up just to see what's going on. They comment how they don't recognise me but I approach with my weapons down. The father tells me briefly that his wife and his son's mother was also part of the anti technology cult but since he and his son have partially broken away. I turn on my torch just for the sake of it because when I approached a previous technology group late at night with my torch on they told me to turn it off as it was satanic. The father comments how I have a good strong headlamp how he used to have one and my armour was stronger and better than anything he had seen before. they continue to argue back and forth until the conversation finally stops between them and they step away from each other. I think the story is over and began walking away...A few seconds later a shot rings out I spin round and dash to the nearest cover thinking maybe the son or father had finally had grown tired of each other or even me. I dash back to the house to see what has unfolded. It's only the radio the son has silenced the devil's work. The best part of this story is something that preoccupied me for the rest of the game is I picked up night vision goggles later on in the area and I wanted to go back and show them to the father but I had already moved on to the final mission of the area and there was no going back. Yes this game wanted me to turn around for no reason and stand by an NPC mashing the N button for my own amusement. I was aiming for the good ending (I know that there's a good one and a bad one but no guides or extra information) I still got the bad ending but I feel it is the correct ending for the three games artyom and the Colonel. I don't say this lightly when I say metro exodus I think is the best game I've ever played. The bad ending was my ending...I tried my best.
Exodus is so good. It's also a test of your graphics card if you want it to be despite running well on normal. Games were so 'Open' at the time, and this was like a handcrafted large area that gave you both choice and worthwhile exploration. Must play.
Just replayed this trilogy the last couple weeks and it is insane how well even 2033 and Last Light hold up today. They’re such immersive and detailed worlds that are better than games releasing today and visually the 4A Engine is one of the best out there. Can’t wait for Stalker 2 until we can get Metro 4. And I’m honestly tempted to buy PSVR2 simply for Metro Awakening this year. If Valve gives us a Half Life Alyx port someday, those two combined are a system seller for me.
Two things about Exodus: 1) that design of the levels where you have a lot of smaller areas are called "hubs". Games with that same type of design are Deus Ex and Long Dark for example. The idea is to go for less space with more things to do it then in stead of going big with an empty world. 2) Honestly, a bad ending for Exodus seems more fitting to me. I like Exodus the least out of all the 3... I miss the tunnels and the dark XD Don't get me wrong, it is a good game, it just lost my favorite part of its identity (Caspian sea spider den and the endgame dead city not included)... I miss the linear style of the game.
@@bappointhemorning And not lucky for me that I live in a 2nd world country so the vr headset is out of my budget XD Does not really matter, you can play gamma for ever XD
i hate that i need a karma guide for last light caus i am getting so many moments spoiled for me. never anything big but still. it is so stupid some of what gives you karma as well its like how dose me finding a random dead guy and looting him for ammo have any more implication on my character arc then any of the otehr dead guys i found and looted
@@bappointhemorning thing is metro 2033 redux just copy pasted assets and engine from last light. Original has different gameplay and world difference. Cool things like shooting off helmet from enemy so he will equip standard gas mask (on outisde metro levels) very climatic and cool experience. But has some wood in it ngl. It was modified stalker engine so yeah
Great video and last light karma is really bad atleast the bad ending is still satisfying. iIlove metro games only problem is i wont be able to play the new one when it releases due to it being a vr game but atleast i have metro larp in my country so i am okay.
@@bappointhemorning Bro, I have no idea, lmao. I tried doing all the good karma stuff, but when it came to Pavel and the other dude, I was like "Nah, you both deserve this." Fast forward to the last level, I was ready to get the bad ending, and then the good ending started playing and I laughed like a maniac. Still don't know what the hell happened there. Good times.
Exodus is a fantastic game. I just wish there were more weapons, as the selection in the base game is anemic, even with the extensive customization. A library mode like Last Light also would have been greatly appreciated.
It's extremely rare for every single game in a series to be 10/10, and the metro series is the epitome of perfection. The storyline, the dialog, the action, the environment, the high quality sound, the graphics, the suspense, need I say more?
My brother introduced me to the first game. He hyped it up and then surprised me with it as a Steam gift. I was skeptical because it’s not the kind of thing I usually play. I’m typically partial to epic fantasy and not post apocalyptic shooters. Anyway, my brother has created a monster, because this universe has become rooted in my brain. After playing 2033, I needed more so I read the first book and 2035. I couldn’t afford the other two games, so I replayed the first one a couple more times. Finally, both Last Light and Exodus went on sale for a crazy reasonable price, so of course I had to get them. I’m about to finish up Last Light for a second run because I didn’t get the canon ending. I was as good as possible, but I must have messed up on a key choice somewhere lol. I’ll be sad when I’m done with the series.
love the Metro series, , my first Metro game was Exodus and loved it so much i went back and played the original 2. It is such a great game series and very under rated, very creepy is places and feels like a horror game some times (for me at least), ooh and boy do i hate those giant spider things that hate the light. Artyom is one of my favorite characters in gaming and that saying alot since he is silent in game for the most part. You really have to be in the mood to play these games, they are really atmospheric games, especially Exodus.
Some reason, i couldn't enjoy Exodus. It is, by all counts, a great, game... but it did not feel like a "Metro" game. I'm really not sure what I didn't like it, maybe I just need to replay it. But I do remember the memorable first zone, where you take the boat into that church. That was awesome. Then there was the Desert (Aral Sea)? And I just couldn't be assed to finish it. I also was playing on the hardest difficulty, so lol maybe that's why. I really want to replay it.... in fact...i just might today. Mind you, this is coming from someone who understands Russian (to a intermediate degree, lived in the country for a time, before Crimea...), and I couldn't enjoy the "Game" part of it. Everything else about it was awesome. Something about driving around in the desert felt very... "far cry" to me, I guess that's why.
I think what stood out to me in the first game is that the world isn't waiting for you. I don't know that I'm conveying it properly, but most of the plots and events are already in progress, you can affect them in some small way and shape a battle, help a station, or not. It doesn't truly matter. You only make a true change to the world in the end, after all your work. Artyom is only one man, and can only truly make a difference in hs own small way. and that is sort of the charm of it. That doesn't mean that the other two are bad, I love them but the game treats Artyom as the main character and starts centering events more around him and his actions. That's an interesting evolution.
Playing the metro eedux bundle psn got it for like 2.99 I was like why not, since I recently finished metro exodus that game is definitely one of my most favorites now, there's this feel metro exodus has whole playing it, a nostalgic adventure type of feel to it, definitely a classic series
I've played the entire trilogy twice over and i'm currently on another playthrough after a few years of not touching them. Let me Preface with the fact that Exodus is a phenomenal game, i love it to death, but it is a different game than the first 2. 2033 and last light are almost the same game. the Beauty of the first 2 games is not the dialogue, the gunplay, or the main character. It's the world. The entire metro is filled to the brim with short stories weather you pay attention or not. When bourbon takes you to the surface, you see the journey of a stalker who met his end to a pack of watchmen while. You find a train-cart filled with dead watchmen, just to find 1 body and the very end with a shotgun, a man who fought til his last breath. The games are beautiful for the reason that the environments are so amazing, and this is enunciated even more-so by Khan. Khan is the players guide to the world, showing you the weight that the past holds on the tunnels, the ghosts that will never leave, and the burial grounds you constantly walk upon. The first 2 Metro games are almost not about you at all, they're a vehicle to show you what's around you, and this is why i think they are masterpieces that cannot and will not ever be recreated. Every inch feels lived it, walked on, and most likely has. to me, Artyoms story is not told in a single game, but in all 3. You see his growth as a character more than you think, from struggling to deal with a few creatures with your dad and hunter at the start, to dealing with several completely by yourself at the start of exodus. You Become a living legend of the metro weather you think so or not and if you pay attention, it couldn't be more clear to you that the story is told through hints, not dialogue. Not only this, but if you play the game with good morale and stealthy, it becomes an entirely different game. my first playthrough it was all shooting, and now that I'm stealthing and knocking out everyone i can, it is clear that artyoms mercy was intended. the stories you hear about yourself from guardsmen talking, they call you a beast, more than human, a force of nature, and you are. but you are supposed to find the strength to forgive, much like the dark ones do for you. Metro is not about the finding D6. it's not about defeating the reds or the nazis. the story is negligible until Exodus. Metro is about the world around you, and carefully observing it. not stomping through killing everything you find. thanks for reading my over passionate ramble about my favorite games
Metro 2033 is trully the most Metro and it does what its supposed to perfectly. It is immaculate in how much you immerse yourself. Last light is my favorite, while it doesnt do the same thing 2033 does, it does continue the story the way it should continue. Artyom daubts are adressed and he ahs to directly face the consequences of his false "heroism". The gameplay is greatly improved with many amazing weapons. Some people say it doenst have the same feel and to some extent its true. But it definitely is a new perspective of the same thing rather than a new thing. Youre still in the same world but with a new set of eyes, which is what Khan tries to teach you. Its impossible to write a sequel to horror story with the same level of mystery becouse... well youve already seen it. It does feel a bit "sequel-y" in a sense of bigger more explosion. In a similar vain to the "Alien" and its sequel they are still both amazing sequels even if some people would miss the feeling of initial mystery and discovery. You can only discover something once. BUT even the bear boss fight is so atmospheric and you still get the classic Metro dilema of who's the bad guy and who's just trying to survive (something the Exodus bear fight fails completely). I love that Artyom gets a redemption. I also LOVE Pavel as a character. Exodus i have such mixed feelings about it would take hours to explain.
Awesome video I just started playing Metro for the first time ever. This game keeps calling me back I'm playing Metro 2033 redux. I think it's called but thanks for all the info on these games. Maybe I'll explore them they're really well made. That atmosphere is really cool. Good job with the video man. I really appreciate it and you're funny too!
I think this. Metro 2033 is an awesome introduction to the series - with the grimmest atmosphere and least possibilities (a.k.a. the most scripted), also the darkest one, with awesome stealthy parts about killing human enemies. Second one is much less grim, even more about stealth, with more human enemies, which I totally love about it. The third one is more like an adventure game rather than survival horror, with more focus on story line, but it's also a great title with few big free roam areas that greatly differ from each other in everything and the feeling of freedom in progressing through these areas is generally present throughout the game, even though it's just an illusion, but weighted perfectly just for my taste in not being too much free roam or too scripted. I totally agree with the title in the video, and I definitely recommend the series, as I'm probably doing, like, 3rd playthrough in past half a year.
This week i played all of metro games... And what i can say is that the first two games are insaaanely good... Exodus is meh... Good story but janky mechanics... Idk how it's possible that older games play way better than the new one but it's true... Annyway... I love metro and it's songs
my favorite level from exudos was volga the first one I just think it felt the most like metro vibes and all and I loved the tsar fish and the cool medieval cult faction but I don't think the desert one was bad and i liked the car though the level was kind of empty id like to hear your thoughts on why it was bad .
I'm going through the S.T.A.L.K.E.R games right now, and once I'm done with the trilogy I'm going to the Metro games. I've finished Shadow of Chernobyl and Clear Sky already. Working my way through Call of Pripyat. I played a bit of the first Metro game a few years ago, but gave up on it after I got softlocked. I was dying from radiation and had saved at a bad time lol
ya play the desert level with bad weather on new game plus shit you can even see 2 meters in front of you but man how the atmosphere changes and the volga level really shines with bad weather
Metro Exodus, while it was ok (IMO), in terms of the weapons it felt like they took a step back, already established weapon's were more primitive which made no sense, the kalash had lots of pieces missing and that just seemed silly to me. The revolver was downgraded to a 3 shot to start with, the bastard gun was even worse the its previous rendition. These changes really annoyed me. The controls were much more clunky too where in the past games they were very smooth. I like Exodus, but i part of me doesn't either...
Did you say you will rank them? I think I missed the ranking part since I went straight to the conclusion to avoid minor Exodus spoilers. I almost put off playing Exodus because of open world burnout.
ye ops , i forgor 💀 but nah exodus open world is good , think of it as open ended levels where you can take your time rather than your typical open world games
Why are you telling my opinion about these games? Did you dig into my mind and stole my words? All 3 games are a masterpiece. I finished all 3 on hardcore difficulty. Amazing experience. I still go back and play them every now and then. Love the video dude.
Just played it, the game was so great but the story kinda short for me? I still remember how the game turned to OUTLAST as I run out of bullet and running my way to find the D6
Even I liked Metro 2033 better than the last light. I did not like how stealth was portrayed in the last light. Even on the hardest difficulty, I found crouching close to the enemy even when they're looking at me, does not raise any suspicion which honestly speaking disappointed me. But apart from that I lloved everything.
I'd been away from gaming for ten years, yet one of the first games I download on getting another gaming rig was Metro Redux, and now because of your vid on the series, Metro Redux Bundel which at the time of viewing your video is on sale on Steam. 3 great games for under $20 AUD. Good way to kill some time, and furry beasty. Ps. Sonic soft, "Meh"! Heaps of better games out there.
My favorite Metro game is none of these. I actually prefer the original Metro 2033 over Metro 2033 Redux. They are quite different, both have pros and cons. It is also much harder, especially stealth. Most people forgot how the much different the original was since it is gone from steam. I got mine off a CD-key On it's own Metro 2033 Redux is good but I hate playing it since it feels like I am playing Metro 2033 while constantly getting gaslighted. i.e: When you get chased by the Panzer, you get to kill it which doesn't happen in Redux. Child VA are not old smoker women. Plated Nosalis are replaced by Last Lights Spiders. The only bad thing in the OG imo are the character models.
They've simplified almost everything in Redux and changed the voice actor. The guy who was Artyom's original voice did such a great job, and with Redux we got Artyom with stage 2 lung cancer. I did like that Redux opened up and connected some of the levels. The stealth in Metro 2033 was ridiculously hard (especially Frontline was impossible), but in Redux and the rest of the Metro games they've made it way too easy.
@@pastichiorocker Regarding stealth I couldn't agree more. But tbh I prefer the near impossible stealth over the immersion breaking easy stealth from the games after. And yes, Frontline was so hard to stealth even if you sneak under the bridge lol.
Metro Redux is cool but not as good as the Stalker games. Exodus has the atmosphere, but the AI should've been much better. It just seems like everything has pathfinding problems; they didn't update the AI to handle the bigger locations.
I think Exodus is the worst Metro game of the 3 (still very good game tho), and that is not because the gameplay is worse or the Story is unbelievably bad, i think its worse because of certain Character development. I have a huge Problem with the way they portraied Anna Miller and Artyom in Exodus. Anna is just super annoying all the time and gets herself in stupid situations, Miller is just an absolut dick and blames Artyom for anything that happens during their journey (except in the end where he sacrificed himself for Artyom), even though theyve built up a great "friendship" in the first game. And at last there are several Problems wih Artyoms behaviour, why the fuck is he so unbelievably passive in everything? I understand that the player gets to decide what he does, but compared to the first 2 games there is a huge chunk of his personality missing (at least it feels like that for me).
yes STALKER games are exactly like Metro only open world and i really hope they don't fuck up STALKER 2 cause they wanted to put MTX SCAMS in it at one point back track cause of bad backlash but been financed by Xbox i fear WOKE Garbage will be put into the game oh and btw if timeline holds true next Metro game is just 1 or 2 years away it should be one but we haven't heard anything yet
I just clicked on this video to say that metro exodus is one of the worst games I've ever played for a plethora or reasons and anyone who says its good, let alone a masterpiece is objectively wrong and is in need of thorough spanking.
@@bappointhemorning Whatever floats your goat my friend. My gripe with the game was its cringe inducing script and voice acting and lack of memorable characters. That on top of the fact that the Xbox version's analog sensitivity not being synched up properly made aiming properly very hard ree Though I did like the graphics and it's take on the post apocalypse genre which drew me to the game in the first place. Anyways that's my life story. Will watch your vid properly later since you responded. I just clicked on it to get that off my chest cos I think you need a spank regardless daddyo xox

Though I can agree that the karma is a bit ambiguous in how it wants you to actually attain the points (i.e explore this area or listen to this dialogue bla bla bla)
Could say a lot more but I can't be bothered lol, otherwise good video and I can see where you're coming from.
Also blud did NOT give a tier list at the end of the video 😂
It's nice to see all three games compiled into one compact review

It seems the developers were expecting us to spray and pray that gun and didn't anticipate us firing single shots or bursts with it.
me personally I let that b*tch go off🤣developers must’ve knew me then 😂😂
Metro exodus also has the best soundtrack and also the most chilling level in the most metro way possible, talking about novosobirsk here
I liked 2033 ost better but exodus was also good
I have reservations about the story of Exodus, and its open world gameplay, but Ill take it over ANYTHING released these days. Theres something about the series that will stick with me forever.
You need to look harder, there are gems but they're harder to find. Cyberpunk is finally polished and it has no loading screans when compared to Starfield
@@ChopstickSpice I used to play Cyberpunk back in the early 2010s on TTRPG, how does it compare? Besides Cyberpunk, what else could there be?
Replaying the whole trilogy on ranger hardcore right now, finished metro 2033 and nearly done last light. My memory never serves this game justice, whenever I replay it the game is better than I remember - maybe because of ranger hardcore. But I replay this trilogy ever few years or so, and I end up always wanting more. I mod fallout 4 to be as much like it as possible, or play S.T.A.L.K.E.R which are all good alternatives but just aren’t the same. Only two missions I don’t like in the whole trilogy. Love it so much, great video!
exodus messed up my brain. sometimes when I drive home, I feel like I'm driving in game and I'm just immersed
I already had played them when they came out first time, however i didnt had them on current gen console except for exodus which gave me an free next gen update lol, however today i saw an psn sale of metro collection with redux 2033 and last light and exodus including all dlc for 8 euros, i bought it 😅😅😅😅
Love the series, loved the video. Can't wait for another in the future. Also, "Esc" for jump is cursed 1:47
espace not esc , lmao it means space in french
Oh, just you wait for metro awakening.
Two things about Exodus:
1) that design of the levels where you have a lot of smaller areas are called "hubs".
I miss the linear style of the game.
i get your point , i mean lucky you i guess cuz that new vr metro game is prolly going to a linear game
2033 redux and og 2033 are very different. You absolutely forgot about it.
Nope I didn't, I played the redux like I said in the description
@@bappointhemorning thing is metro 2033 redux just copy pasted assets and engine from last light. Original has different gameplay and world difference. Cool things like shooting off helmet from enemy so he will equip standard gas mask (on outisde metro levels) very climatic and cool experience. But has some wood in it ngl. It was modified stalker engine so yeah
From 80$ to 9$ i am buying EVERYTHING HAHAHAHHA
Great video and last light karma is really bad atleast the bad ending is still satisfying. iIlove metro games only problem is i wont be able to play the new one when it releases due to it being a vr game but atleast i have metro larp in my country so i am okay.
I'm a girl and I absolutely love metro the atmosphere and the deep connection with the main character is so strong ❤
good stuff !
I'm a boy and I absolutely love metro aswell
There are only 3 games, so that's 2 sequels. Otherwise there would be 4.
well technically im not wrong with the new vr game , but yeah only 3 games
Bro, I don't know how, but I killed both Pavel and the other bad guy and still had the good ending. Don't ask me how I did it, tho lol.
I know you said don't ask me how , but how did you do it ????
The gameplay?
Exactly the video I was looking for. I think you did a great job!
I first played this game on the switch and i instantly fell in love with it
I think what stood out to me in the first game is that the world isn't waiting for you.
I love the metro series, also great video
i also love the metro series , also thanks
I had to renew my Pokémon home today I got the redux bundle on the eshop since it fit with the money I had left so I got this currently enjoy 2033
Great games, that’s a steal. Your in for a treat
Hope you enjoy the rest of the games as well
@@99tries yea with my gold coins I got it for less than $4
@@bappointhemorning yea after I beat these 2 I’ll play the 3rd since it’s on ps5
Fantastic books as well. A bit heavy to read since theyre translated from russian but really good when you get into it.
I first played these games with English Dialog, second playthough with Russian dialog, made it feel more like in Russia
TLDR; Metro is about the journey, not the destination
for me, the game got better in each sequel.
Played the series idk5 times and still my beloved series...hyping for new Metro continuing with artyom and ana
I have both Metro last light and redux, but not sure which one I finish. The one that you climb up the tunnel with tones of spider and gas mask.
I see metro
I click
The editing in the video is top notch, continue reviewing
Thank you so much
I'm going through the S.T.A.L.K.E.R games right now, and once I'm done with the trilogy I'm going to the Metro games. I've finished Shadow of Chernobyl and Clear Sky already. Working my way through Call of Pripyat.
I played a bit of the first Metro game a few years ago, but gave up on it after I got softlocked. I was dying from radiation and had saved at a bad time lol
metro and stalker just being some of the best games ever. edit: i also love how graphics aren't a catagory
ya play the desert level with bad weather on new game plus shit you can even see 2 meters in front of you but man how the atmosphere changes and the volga level really shines with bad weather
i agree metro changed me
Metro Exodus, while it was ok (IMO), in terms of the weapons it felt like they took a step back, already established weapon's were more primitive which made no sense, the kalash had lots of pieces missing and that just seemed silly to me. The revolver was downgraded to a 3 shot to start with, the bastard gun was even worse the its previous rendition. These changes really annoyed me. The controls were much more clunky too where in the past games they were very smooth.
I like Exodus, but i part of me doesn't either...
Love metro series so much that i played 2033 on mobile via nvidia geforce. It was pain with input delay nut i managed to complete it.
Did you say you will rank them? I think I missed the ranking part since I went straight to the conclusion to avoid minor Exodus spoilers. I almost put off playing Exodus because of open world burnout.
ye ops , i forgor 💀 but nah exodus open world is good , think of it as open ended levels where you can take your time rather than your typical open world games
amazing video, 1:47 la FRANCE
Why are you telling my opinion about these games? Did you dig into my mind and stole my words?
All 3 games are a masterpiece. I finished all 3 on hardcore difficulty. Amazing experience. I still go back and play them every now and then.
Love the video dude.
yeah i can read minds lol , also thank you :D
Me ( after reading the title of the video ) : oh you don't have to tell me that !!
The Books are great to though 2035 is alot different to exodus
I haven't reed them , maybe I should give them a try
Came to watch this video coz all 3 games are on sale in a bundle. Looks like worth a shot
Just played it, the game was so great but the story kinda short for me? I still remember how the game turned to OUTLAST as I run out of bullet and running my way to find the D6
I played the 2033 for like 7-8hrs and now going to lastlight then redux.... The director of the story is great I love the story.
In the original Metro 2033 stealth was almost impossible. They've simplified it for Redux, Last Light and Exodus.
I like these games
Your style of videos and humour is very intelligent, well done
thanks
I'd been away from gaming for ten years, yet one of the first games I download on getting another gaming rig was Metro Redux, and now because of your vid on the series, Metro Redux Bundel which at the time of viewing your video is on sale on Steam. 3 great games for under $20 AUD. Good way to kill some time, and furry beasty. Ps. Sonic soft, "Meh"! Heaps of better games out there.
Glad that you like this series , I will do more on exodus dlcs
Fucking excellent vid, my dude
Thank you
I absolutely ❤❤❤ these games
I love how this video doesn't feature any footage or screenshots of Metro 2033 despite supposedly talking about it
I actually bought this metro saga bundle in what order should I play them
My favorite Metro game is none of these.
I actually prefer the original Metro 2033 over Metro 2033 Redux. They are quite different, both have pros and cons.
It is also much harder, especially stealth.
Most people forgot how the much different the original was since it is gone from steam. I got mine off a CD-key
On it's own Metro 2033 Redux is good but I hate playing it since it feels like I am playing Metro 2033 while constantly getting gaslighted.
i.e:
When you get chased by the Panzer, you get to kill it which doesn't happen in Redux.
Nice video. I wish it was longer.
Thank you, I will make longer videos In the future

Metro Exodus is good except your PC though
It ran great tho

Shuuush 🤫🤫
"If this gets 10 likes" How about 500? 🤣
yeah the metro community is insane !!!
Why is the desert level hated? I think its the best level
Metro games had me tryna learn russian
I can’t see them being masterpieces. I just can’t. Too many cons than pluses for me.
Can you develop ?
Metro Redux is cool but not as good as the Stalker games. Exodus has the atmosphere, but the AI should've been much better. It just seems like everything has pathfinding problems; they didn't update the AI to handle the bigger locations.
How and where can i get the original metro 2033 and last light
You can just buy it from here since it's delisted on steam cdkeys.pxf.io/55bMx9
The controls are obnoxious and the aiming is literal garbage.
Well not really , In metro exodus the movement is a bit buggy sometimes but overall it's a great experience
Wait, don't you like the feeling of running with a pair of shoes made of concrete?
@@lonewanderer882 lol it's my fave!
Only metro 2033, and the original, not the dumbed down Redux garbage.
yes STALKER games are exactly like Metro only open world and i really hope they don't fuck up STALKER 2 cause they wanted to put MTX SCAMS in it at one point back track cause of bad backlash but been financed by Xbox i fear WOKE Garbage will be put into the game oh and btw if timeline holds true next Metro game is just 1 or 2 years away it should be one but we haven't heard anything yet
I just clicked on this video to say that metro exodus is one of the worst games I've ever played for a plethora or reasons and anyone who says its good, let alone a masterpiece is objectively wrong and is in need of thorough spanking.
i liked it alot tho 😢
@@bappointhemorning Whatever floats your goat my friend. My gripe with the game was its cringe inducing script and voice acting and lack of memorable characters.
That on top of the fact that the Xbox version's analog sensitivity not being synched up properly made aiming properly very hard ree
