I use one of these bad boys at a feedlot I work at for loading bales of hay into a haybuster. She's old and rough as guts, but a fine piece of machinery.
Smooth transition from reverse to forward. I get a pain in my wallet when I see a machine jerk at direction change. Just shows who the Professionals are.
Hey i have question. In my country theres 5 week courses for all loaders and escavators. Do you think it's enough to be able to operate atleast at basic level for basic jobs or you think it's just not enought to master this?
If you can get one job and satisfy the customer, they will tell others, start off with a small job, it will take time to rack up jobs but trust me you can teach your self, or you can get a friend that operates equipment to come out there with you, thats what I did at my first job.
Uh.. Still i want to get license. We have alot of categories like A - G . Like C catergory is for loaders and escavators and thats what i wan't to get license for.
( Sarcasm Alert ) Obviously a rookie loader operator,That is not how you get a driver to pull forward. Keep your line , don't move, or motion, Just dump 5 tons on the cab and hood. He will figure out where to put it. That actually happened at a Lafarge Plant in Ohio,Good Lord I was pissed. I got out, stepped on my lower jaw cause I couldn't believe that ol SOB had just done that to a new Mach. He finished loading my truck(as I flipped him the bird) and when he finished I climbed up on the loader and proceded to question why. He said "Listen you SOB,I've got 12 days to work till I retire,Now GTF down before I knock you down, load you in the back, and nobody will know where you went. I guess that is what you get with a Union that will protect it's workers thru anything. Beg My Pard !!

+Dirt Ninja the sound of that loader is music to my ears
+Dirt Ninja his loader probably has a dirty carburetor bad drive belt or the engine is misfiring when he tries to start it up
From an old guy in Canada, I think very highly of you to help the other contractor when their loader broke down. Great job. Don
Always fun when people stand near your path of travel.
Why not parking the old loader behind the truck to have more space driving backwards?
Is that one of the loaders you plow snow with
Yes it is. I was hauling for the company I plow for.
Is ur froward n reverse on ur joystick??
Yes it is
+Dirt Ninja i've always used a skid steer loader and a compact excavator never used a wheel loader

I think you will definitely be able to operate at a basic level. Then its all about getting a job and experience!
i taught my self how to drive a skid steer and once you know how you will get a lot of jobs.
How will job offerer know you are good at it without license?
