This year, Mini day was held for the first time in three years.
Many people visited, japanese mini-fans very pleased. I hope it will held again next year.
Who would have thought that the Japanese would be in to mini’s so much. Awesome. Just brilliant. Thanks so much for sharing! WEL I know where I’m heading for this year.
To be fair, it's the perfect size for Japan, but it must have a different vibe to a Kei car, that they enjoy.
Wow now I want to go to Japan. Looks like a friendly place
Can't wait for part 2. Great video guys!
wow.... what cool show (Mini Day in Japan) jealous right now! Some nice parts + cars too!! :)
brilliant video , impressed by the quality of the minis there
Thank you for uploading my mini and sharing MINI culture in Japan!
I also liked your video really much.
Now I am still working on my vtec mini every weekend and it is getting better bit by bit.
I will upload my video in future when it in full condition!!!
hello Takuya San :D
Hi!
Looking forward to it! Next time we visit can we go for a drive?
Stevestonmotorco
Sure! I gotta fix overheating issue, but if I am done with that, I hope I can go for a drive with you!
Having just watched another channels trip to japan this is making me want to go even more! That show looked amazing! I love how pleased everyone is to show you their car.
Really awesome video again, killing it.
Thanks Matt!
Nearly as many as the annual mini run in the UK. Awesome!
wow in heaven of mini
Excellent video!
Mini day at Beaulieu in UK, Hampshire, Beaulieu's postcode for your satnav is SO42 7ZN over a 1000 minis !
Amazing video and glad you went. I got to experience same kind a thing a few years back at the annual Kaurizawa MX5 Miata meeting....1,000 miatas and just overload of mods and ideas. Was just too much. I'm sure you logged hours and hours of video as well. Post more if you can as I would love to see more of this amazing event #bucketlistagain
Hey, thanks for the comment. It did feel like overload because the approach towards caring for and modifying your car is at such a high standard in Japan.
Nice coverage. I saw you guys that day on 5th of November. We also travelled all the way from Indonesia to attend 25th Japan Mini Day :)
That's awesome! Worth the trip?
Next time say hello :)
Woah... An Actual Paradise
Cooper S mini pickup?!?!?!?!?!!? Amazing! Japans Mini culture is so strong, some real incredible cars there. Even with basic mods their cars somehow always look better than UK cars. How is that?
They are perfectionists
I was suprised too, thought the pickups were meant as work-horses, so Cooper S pickup from factory sounds strange!
Great video
Very cool 👍
Better than uk mini days for sure
Great thing about Japan is that rust tends not to be a thing..... can't say the same thing in the UK
WFO wheels are just so dope
I want too hug the minis
Nice video !!
dariusz zbigniew Rudowski Thanks!
@3:19 What is this roof rack model/make ?! I LOVE IT ! ! !
I missed this by 2 weeks due to being deployed. You should work on making the next Classic Mini Festival at Fuji Speedway. The next one should be August 2019. You can drive your Mini on the race track!
Jeremy Fontenot Ah too bad. We'd love to visit Fuji Speedway. A classic track, plus minis? Yes pls
come again japan Mr!Hamanako 2018!
What is the name of the music or song in the beginning of the episode
i was there too :D
5:00 Mini cobra 😍😍😍😍
Wasp, from New Zealand.
so cool guys! ISNT JAPAN JUST THE FUCKING BEST
4:33 OMG
Wait... wait..... what the heck is THIS?....being an aircooled Porsche guy, why is there a mid-80's Porsche Carrera badge on the back of this Mini ??? (2:55)....
Good video, minis drive very well but RUST in incurable: I’ve owned 3 so I know. The original designer A. Issagonis would be surprised to see what he designed as a “disposable” car actually being cherished and kept into longevity. If I had money + wanted to own my 4th mini then buy it, and have the subframe separated from the monocoque. Get some welding & rust genius to fix, what is inherent to the poor design. In fact, the only way to do it right, is to find the original machinery, and use decent metal, and improve upon all the pinched seams somehow. All the collectors are buying poor old metal, pinched together in disposable way. Rant over
Did other British cars sell in Japan?
Hi guys I’m in Australia, is it cheaper to buy a Japanese mini and import it over here. There is one car dealer here I know of who regularly has the last of the minis for sale that he imports from Japan but they seem expensive. Would appreciate any advice.
Dinky makes some amazing stuff. The Polyurethane Suspension cones are amazing. I have them on my clubman. Speak to Mr Ishizuka if you get a chance. He's a wealth of knowledge on minis.
minimoe2008 cool, we've never had the chance to try poly cones!
What is the white car at 4:11 ?
innocenti mini de tomaso
