I believe Jonathan Majors is the next Sidney Poitier and Denzel Washington as an actor. When it’s all said and done I believe he will rank right up there with both of them on the list as one of the greatest actors of all time. I also want to make another comparison, he reminds me of a young Marlon Brando in terms of mannerisms on screen and complete mastery over his craft. He has the same improvisational ability of adding more to a scene than just what’s on the script and same technique of taking his time and searching for words on screen. His smile is even very similar to Brando too
He’s the next Jonathan majors. People always act that their can be only one great black male actor when we have many.
@@sovietninja6865 Yes very true, there are many great black actors throughout several past decades all the way through to today. But as far as I’m concerned, there is nobody I would put equal to Sidney Poitier or even Denzel Washington all time. No black actor other than perhaps Morgan Freeman has achieved close to the type or work and performances throughout many years like they have. No disrespect to any other great ones over the years like Fishburne, Billy Dee, James Earl Jones, Idris Elba, Louis Gossett Jr etc. But I don’t think anyone’s body of work has really come close to them since, I really don’t. Their talent was once in a generation for both their respected eras. I’m not saying Jonathan Majors will equal or surpass any or them,(who knows, it’s way too early to make that prediction)but I do see a tremendous rare potential for iconic greatness in him. I don’t know, he just has that it factor, the all timeness heir about him on screen. He could be an all time great when it’s all said and done. I believe his ceiling is that high. I don’t think we’ve even begun to see what this man is capable of on screen. In the next 10-20 years I think we will all be in awe of what he achieves in films over the years with his acting performances

Majors for sure will make his mark in history, in film, behind and in front of the camera. Anyone who is dedicated to their craft should be applauded. I'm glad he is getting his shine and his chance. I hope all other great male and female melanated actors also get their just due.
Jonthan was magnificent in Devotion, a great tribute to Jesse Brown.
