Dance performance brings Sanxingdui’s ancient wonders to life

At the 2022 Spring Festival Gala, a dance performance named “The Golden Mask” honored Sanxingdui’s ancient treasures. Unearthed in 2021 in Sichuan, the exquisite golden mask was among the cultural relics unveiled during the 100th anniversary of modern Chinese archaeology. The performance paid tribute to this ancient artifact, with dancers transporting viewers back thousands of years, offering a glimpse into the rich history of Sanxingdui.
