As someone who comes from a family that was torn apart and driven in to decades of alcohol and drug abuse thanks to 1 bad driver, I truly wish nothing but the worst on people like this. 28 years later and my grandma still drinks herself to sleep and considers suicide every day, never got to meet the real version of my mom, and my aunt got so depressed she killed herself. All because of 1 bad driver in the late ‘90s

The idea was you take a spoonful or two after a meal to aid in digestion. Same for most traditional European herbal liqueurs like Chartreuse, Drambuie, Benedictine, etc. etc., as well as schnapps and brandy.
No real science behind it, but a good excuse for a bit of liquid dessert after a good meal. 😁

Germany, the country where a lot of commuters drive+100mph on a daily basis with a really low accident rate. All thanks to their extensive and elaborated driving license acquisition process
I think the grand tour (Amaz. Prime show) summed up the difference though. "Ask a German what might happen if he drive without a license and he will tell you it is impossible to drive without a license". They follow the law there including to stay tf out of the left lane if not passing
The law does not say to be only on the left lane when passing
You must only pass on the left lane but you can stay on it if your speed is appropriate and does not disturb traffic around you
One of the obvious case is if you are driving the speed limit

Germany isn't unique in this in basically all of EU and probably many countries outside it we have the same thing but the specific word for it isn't known internationally since we dont have highways without speed limits.
That's partially wrong, no Speed Limits is usually only on Autobahn sections that are safe with sideguard rails, good visibility and not too much traffic (I live nearby the A2 the large east to west route and due to heavy traffic on this sections unlimited is only between 8 PM and 6 AM, so no flatout in the rush hours) and nearby cities where there's a higher density of exits/entries or interchanges and traffic entering/leaving it's permanently speed limited to 120kph/80mph or rather 100kph/62mph and 80kph/50mph.
The most dangerous roads are in fact country roads (so outside of towns/villages with up to 100kph) built as Avenues/Allees - with trees constantly on both sides and no guard rails and tree vs. car - The tree almost always wins.
And I see why, drove around in a rural area between Hildesheim and Bückeburg on roads of that type and I didn't drive slowly, was around the speed limit of 100kph, also accerelated quickly but still got overtaken by a bunch of others, of course for the period of overtaking you can exceed the speed limit but after that you should slow down again and they didn't, they went out of sight quickly.
And sometimes it's nice to flatout on the highway but it also often feels like anarchy and especially on three lanes there are often "Mittelspurschleicher" - center/middle lane crawlers that should go to the unoccupied right lane but don't do (and overtaking on the right isn't allowed, sometimes I attempt to until I'm at the same height and then use my horn).
German Highways are among the safest but we still have a lot of morons here despite the high standards to acquire a driver's licence.

The worst part about this is the driver says to be a "professional" speedy driver who likes to do this regularly on any busy highway. It's very easy for us to say none of us would care if they randomly die from a car crash. What we do care about is how many random innocent bystanders and other fellow drivers who unfortunately got injured from Speedy Car-zoles. With how fast he's going, and how often he likes to stream this on Kick, it's only one clip away from featuring a real life bloody car crash mess to have all the evidence shown not only to court, driving lesson 101 but also enough reason to sue Kick's site as a whole when it comes to the lack of rules they give to their content creators that uses this as a platform.

It's a liqueur, which is just a type of liquor that's been sweetened, specifically an "herbal liqueur." So I guess the best answer to the question is Jager isn't a whiskey, scotch, wine, vodka, or anything like that, Jager is just Jager

German here, thanks for not butchering the word Jägermeister. Jäger is hunter and meister is master (and also the final "degree" you can obtain in trades ) so it means Master Huntsman.
It is a traditional herbal "Likör" (not identical in meaning to liqueur/liquor) with medium alcohol content compared to booze. This specific one is a traditional herbal digestif, traditionally taken after a heavy meal.
The company did a genius PR move and promoted it in clubs with ads made for young people that is associated with fun. Many other herbal digestifs have suffered commercially

2:14 Aussie but got German ancestry. My grandfather's used to drink Jagermeister all the time at family gatherings but only a shot, never in a Jagerbomb.
Jagermeister is essentially a herbal liqueur that was traditionally served after a meal, named a Digestif. Jager was also used for if you were sick and had a cold, you'd drink some Jager to warm up and soothe a sore throat.
Flavour wise, it's herbal so it's got a bunch of botanicals like Gin, but add in more herbs like Aniseed which gives it a bit of a liquorice taste. Some compare it to a cough syrup in taste but I find that it really works well on its own or even mix it into a cola really helps if you're not used to the taste.

Thank you Muda! Gawd damn you hit the nail on the head, people need to understand that there is a "TIME" and "PLACE" for anything and everything and in this particular case you take your _need for speed_ to the gawd damn race track when they host open track nights.
I recall Irwindale Speedway had something setup like every Thursday nite so people could show up and pay to use the track to get their adrenaline rush. Apparently people these days aren't thrilled with having a dedicated place and time, along with having to pay an entrance fee and/or only getting to release their speed demon on a once a week basis.
I don't have any problem with people wanting to go fast, that desire is just simply ingrained within our DNA and it's perfectly alright to embrace it. But embrace it RESPONSIBLY as well as RESPECTFULLY as the evolved human beings we are and not the animals we once were.
The problem is when there's no tracks because they keep getting shut down. Sorry that I can't drive 4-5 hours to my nearest track that has track days lmao. I just wait until midnight when there's no traffic to have my fun. It's the only alternative where I live. I'd pay a lot of money to go on a track though
