I understand being upset when something you make doesn't turn out how you planned ..but from one crochet girl to another just let me say "this is ABSOLUTELY BADASS"!!! The time alone it took you and the color blending..it's literally perfection 👌 ❤ If you are gonna listen to it and sell it, I wouldn't mention anything about that because no one would know that it's not meant to be just a mandala. It's absolutely beautiful and worth every penny that you ask for it❤❤❤ So i'm still gonna say great job!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Ohh, I am so sorry! I am currently slogging my way through your pattern, and often have to go back and undo nearly a full round cos I messed up right back at the beginning of the round, so while on a smaller scale, I totally understand the frustration! (and feels bit mean saying it, but it kinda make me feel a bit of relief knowing I am not the only one to mess it up!) *sends mental hugs* It looks gorgeous, regardless of whether it matched the intended purpose or not!

We all have those frog days. For the life of me I must have had one off day at that center to miss count it that bad. Even though Its still a stunning piece. I was so bummed I could not put it on the umbrella frame.

I feel the frustration. No one would ever know the different amount of skull pattern just by looking at it. Too bad it doesn't fit the umbrella frame 😢 it may have been enough yardage of yarn for a pattern with only 8 center skulls. 😮😢
Absolutely beautiful design regardless of the oops 😊❤😅

Yeah I was wondering why it was eating up so much yarn. It generally takes about 800 yards. This took about 900. It was just a miss count in the very first round. I think I need a vacation :)

😮 This is so beautiful! Do they not have a larger umbrella frame you can use? I'm half tempted to see if I can make a custom umbrella frame for you. And How did you make such a perfect rainbow? Is it a special yarn brand?

Most umbrella frames have 8 spokes. You can get a golf umbrella that is 60 inches. This one just would not have hung right on the frame. As for the yarn, it is "Cotton Kings Twirls". I had to do my own blending with different yarn from a different brand to finish the piece up. In truth, I had 4 more rounds to go on this big rainbow, however I was just growing too big. So I improved my last round.
