Its great the way you put the footage from Ireland in with the replica street footage, it makes it much more cohesive and explains it really well. Nice work as always 🙂
This was fantastic!!! In Dover there is an abandoned army housing estate! Its quite creepy to walk around but is was used as accommodation when Dover had Army bases.
Thanks Jamie I remember your video on that! It's often you can find an abandoned house but walking through an abandoned street is something different. Will have to look into that, was it part of Western Heights? Have been exploring a lot more of Dover this year
Spent 6 long months within those walls. Best and also worst of life memories. The walk up, to the right on the grass, marked numerous plaques, commemorating the soldiers who lost their lives during the Troubles. All gone now.
Only just discovered this video. I know the site well. Although the military no longer have use of it since it was sold, the site is still currently used very frequently for firearms training by several police services. There are several other “ghost town” sites similar to this in the immediate area, some of which are now condemned as they are too structurally unsafe to operate within. A great video.
I’ve been here, drove down it by accident whilst working on the barracks. Was surreal going from thick scrub land to a housing estate complete with actors!!!
It looks like lydd? I served from 1998 - 2010 under used to do training for Northern Ireland and then Afghan in a village like this and there were shooting ranges at the back of camp.
A soldiers life can depend upon the quality of training,I did my internal security training elsewhere with the army and no matter how many tours of Ireland you had done, you did the I.S. training before every tour.
Fascinating, honestly. Great video boys. I believe yous lived on Canvey previously? Heard about you a long time ago when I went Cornelius Vermuyden. Keep up the good work!
One of us still does! Still very much interested in the areas local history, we hope to do more local videos this year. Just been enjoying adventuring further afield lately :)
In case people are wondering about the likeness of Bin Laden - this great article has some earlier photos of the site including one of the poster when his face is still recognisable: julian-hoffman.com/2017/02/01/a-world-away-so-near-lodge-hill/

Hey. I’m from Kent, where abouts is the fake road??

Once again you have absolutely smashed it with this one, the quality and narration is second to none. Ps Would make a cool air soft/ paint ball venue!
Thank you sir! Very kind words, it certainly would reminds me of Nuke Town in Call of Duty 😉
Great explore of this site before it's gone.

Very interesting that they would go to such lengths for training!
