Sun and moon are the most memorable games in the 3ds library from my personal experience. I remember seeing the trailers from day one up to release. I was low key hyped. And when the games came out I stormed through my copy of sun in two to three days and I loved every second of it.
This video is great. I'm currently working on my Living Dex and I'm missing like half of the Pokemon from Gen 7. I popped in Ultra Sun and it's like 30% through the story. This was a great recap.
I'm so relieved that someone has made a video like this! I got stuck in my playthrough 4 years ago on the Kakui fight and had no idea how to get out of the Elite 4 battling area, and only just today found out i could just get myself knocked out and sent to a pokecenter. But at this point i've forgotten all the story and events and characters, so this video was very much needed!! Thank you so much for sparing me a lot of frustration and trying to avoid spoilers as i refresh myself on the plot!
Wow, so not only did you choose Popplio (the best starter), you managed to get a female without resetting; that's truly terrific! Primarina is just beautiful and impossible to hate. Anyway, hope to see a summary about BDSP later this year.
@@swiftkita9015 Haha, I assumed you got her first try because it seems like you just go with whatever starter you are given in these summaries (male Delphox, female Oshawatt, etc.). I would do the same, I just can't have a male Primarina (or Delphox or Chikorita), it just wouldn't feel right.
@@tonyplaysguitar101 It's apparently to make breeding them more difficult, hence why all gifted Pokémon share the same ratio. 50/50 would help a LOT for shiny hunting, and I bet their ratio would be that if they weren't starters.

I never got the chance to play this game because I didn’t have the console, and with Nintendo’s refusal to port games to newer consoles even after stopping manufacturing and support of the old ones, I won’t get the chance to. Thanks for making this so I could learn what I missed! P.S. I know emulation is a thing but my slow af laptop can’t handle it.

I only watch the anime so I wanted to compare the SM series with the games. They're almost exactly the same. In the anime though, Team Skull is a street gang and not a criminal organization, so the main villains are Team Rocket. (There's a Team Rocket from another dimension in the Sword & Shield anime that maybe was inspired by Team Rainbow Rocket in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon.) Thanks for making the walkthrough!

Funny thing about those 2 videos is they were originally not even meant to be summaries lol, but I have future content that is more comedic planned for the future, these summaries are kind of meant to be helpful so I didnt want to be overly obnoxious on them haha. Tbh I'm glad you enjoyed the more humorous stuff, I was kinda afraid people didn't like it

I can't help but feel that rotom dex and rotom bike should still be usable pokemon, since they're....well...rotoms 😅 Seriously, rotom bike could be electric/steel, and the dex could be electric/psychic 😁
Actully, in the anime ash's rotom phone showedthat rotom dex was pure electric Its unconfirmed if its a mistake and its supposed to be ghost like normal rotom or if its intentional Also i think one of the alola protags (i think it was moon the female protag) used rotom dex in battle in the manga
I was thinking about it, but the stories are very similar, sorta like with emerald to ruby/sapphire and platinum to diamond/pearl, so I think I will pass on the ultra games
@@maddiehearts593 personally I feel like lets go makes the most sense, I've done gen 2-7 so far, and tbh sword/shield is still pretty fresh, most people know the story pretty well, so doing a gen 1 game would fill the gap
In case you wanted to know the difference, At the climax, Lusimine isn’t obsessed with Ultra beasts, but rather is trying to save alola by stopping the light hungry Necrozma from eating the sun or something. You fight her once, and at the alter, Necrozma fuses with your legendary and then runs into ultra space after you beat it. The Ultra recon squad, basically astronauts, give you a solgaleo/lunala and you fly into ultra space, where there is a big battle with ultra Necrozma Some other differences include- Mina has a trial this time Necrozma is found on-top of mt. lanikila Many trials and bosses teams are changed. Instead of sailing to akala island, a swimmer gives you a mantine to surf there Hope this helped!
