What can Quantum Computers do that even Supercomputers can’t do? The first answer is Simulation. In 1981 Prof Richard Feynman delivered his famous speech - Simulating Physics With Computers. This speed was published in the International Journal of Theoretical Physics a year later(1982). And this is how the idea of Quantum Computers took off.
What is Simulation? Why Simulating Physics is hard with even the most powerful supercomputers? And How can we use a different kinds of Computers to simulate nature? The answer involves the complexity and quantum nature of stuff at the smallest level. We’re trying to discuss all of these ideas & concepts in this video.
साल 1981 की बात है. एक फिज़िसिस्ट कंप्यूटर्स से एक काम को लेकर परेशान था. उन्होंने कई कंप्यूटर साइंटिस्ट और भौतिक-शास्त्रियों के सामने ये बात रखी. साथ में ये भी बात रखी कि कैसे इस परेशानी का इलाज निकाला जा सकता है. नतीजा ये निकला कि इस फिज़िसिस्ट की स्पीच से एक नए किस्म के कंप्यूटर्स का उदय हुआ. इन कंप्यूटर्स को हम क्वांटम कंप्यूटर्स कहते हैं. जानिए पूरी कहानी इस वीडियो में.

आयुष एक नंबर का घुमक्कड़, इंट्रोवर्ट और निर्लज्ज प्राणी है. इसको कुछ भी सीखने में बहुत आनंद आता है. लेकिन याद्दाश्त का कच्चा है बेचारा. सो दूसरों को पढ़ाकर सीखा हुआ समेटने की कोशिश करता रहता है.

Hi, I saw your video on Quantum Computer. It is presented in very nice way. I am working on Quantum Optics and Quantum Information. My PhD thesis was on one of the basic but essential component of Quantum Computer. The basic component are highly efficient indistinguishable single photon sources and entangled photon pair sources. Now, my work is on Quantum logic gates. The main problem in building the Quantum computer is that how to preserve the entanglement for a very long time. The entanglement diminishes in long time due to decoherence in systems. So, the fabrication of Quantum processor is very difficult task. We would need to fabricate millions of qubits on a single chip. The interaction between these qubits could also raise the decoherence in the system. MIT and Google claimed few month back that they successfully made 240 qubit processor. If Quantum computer would exist then internet would be Quantum internet the Quantum information can not transferred through current optical fibers. We would require different optical fibers and satelites. So, the main few components of Quantum technology are sources of Quantum light,Quantum non-Gaussian sources of light for universal Quantum computer, Quantum logic gates, Quantum registers, Quantum repeaters, Quantum memories, Quantum satelites. But I am sure India me to banane se raha. US and Europe me hi koi baji marega because nothing much is going on in this field in India. Ye log Idia se 30-35 saal aage chal rahe hain Quantum computing ki race me. India ko kharidna hi padega. Sorry for grammatical mistakes.

जैसे नेचर सिम्युलेशन के लिये क्वाण्टम कम्प्युटर जरुरी हुआ वैसे ही,हवाई जहाज जैसे स्पेस शटल और अग्निबाण जैसे रॉकेट से स्पेस एक्सप्लोरेशन संभव होगा ऐसा लगता नहीं,क्योकि स्पेस को डील करने के लिये स्पेस व्हीकल भी प्लेनेट्स की फिजिक्स के सिम्युलेशन से डिजाईन होंगे। यानि पुष्पक की डिजाइन ही स्पेस एक्सप्लोरेशन की फिजिक्स से ली गयी बेहतरीन स्पेस मेकेनिक्स है । पुष्पक विमान की डिजाइन कमल के फूल या गैलेक्सी पर आधारित है, इन्हे समझने वाले वैज्ञानिक ही इसे बना पायेंगे , जो इसके बारे में यूट्यूब पर ज्ञान है वह इसके वास्तविक विज्ञान के कहीं आसपास भी नहीं है। पर हाँ संस्कृत साहित्य से इसे निकाल लिया गया तो भारत का विश्वगुरु बनना तय है।

Incredible, I went through your entire series on quantum computing in one go. Fantastic explanation of basics of quantum computing. God speed to you and may you keep creating more such content on quantum computing. There is incredible scope for quantum computing to be used in pharmacy, genetics, crypotography, communication, weather forecasting, sensors and so so much more. This in my opinion is the next revolution and in all likelihood will open the door to take humanity to the type 1 or more of the Kardashev scale

Your research is amazing. The more I listen to you, the more I admire you. This is what Feynman said exactly the end of his speech, "And I'm not happy with all the analyses that go with just the classical theory, because nature isn't classical, dammit, and if you want to make a simulation of nature, you'd better make it quantum mechanical, and by golly it's a wonderful problem, because it doesn't look so easy. Thank you." No, I did not know it earlier. I researched it, and found it published in - International Journal of Theoretical Physics volume 21, issue 6-7, pages 467-488 (1982). This sentence is on page 486.

Aayush I was always interested to know about the discovery of elements, microscope and how did we identify Hydrogen, Oxygen, Sodium, etc. Did we actually peeked in in the microscope and found it out. Pl make few videos on DISCOVERY OF ELEMENTS too.
