I remember the day I ditched my wheelchair. Now I walk around the house with no brace or crutch. I still take the crutch when I go out in public, just to let others know. I'm currently working on ditching the the crutch. Once I'm able to lift my knee straight up, I will feel more comfortable. I'm 1 year post stroke, it will take time.

ever since my stroke,I only use wheelchairs or power chairs unless it's a lot of walking I go by the use it or lose it way,one of the best therapists I've had tell me to stay away from shortcuts, wheelchairs and power chairs because I will become dependant on them so my advice to anyone like myself is to have that mindset to only use a wheelchair for safety because of fatigue from walking too much, always remember"use it or lose it"stay strong never let your bodies get weaker from laziness, tara please post a video about that air splint ive seen you wear in some hand videos😊the hand splint I got from my occupational therapist is a chore and impossible to put on by myself😢thanks tara😊

Thanks Tara, I enjoyed and got a lot of POSTIVE REIFORCEMENT out of the program. Also it is no problem to show an ad. Lots of times we DO NOT know what is available to make life easier. Also there is no such thing as a free lunch.

I do have a wheelchair with big wheels so I can push myself, except that I can’t because my stroke arm doesn’t move quickly enough and doesn’t have full range like my good arm. I have a mobility scooter which fits in the car and when I get to a shop, I feel safe enough to walk with my stick. My problem is that my balance is not good so I’m nervous about walking in a crowd because I know that if somebody knocks into me I will fall.

    Good Day Madame
On 2022 Jan, with an accident, blood clot on my left skull. Skull removed and put again after 3 months.
By today, I am healthy, but by spasticity, my right foot was not activating. But still I am confident, it will recover.
By seeing your video, I am motivating myself and self confidence.
    Thanks a lot.
