I love the way to treat your sketchbooks! I also love whatever the flowery background is that your sketchbook is on! It almost looks like a desk mat, though I didn't see one in your shop. If you ever made one I'd def buy one, it's so pretty!
That would be a fun thing to make!! It's just a really big drawing I made to use as a backdrop for videos/photos etc 💖
Absolutely adore your sketchbook tours, Sophie! I don’t know if anyone else has this problem, or if it’s just my sound sensitive neurodivergent brain, but I have to turn the sound off & the captions on. Such a bummer because I love your voice! But the music track is so repetitive I can’t handle it. 😢 There have been a couple videos where this type of music wasn’t used, and it was such a delight to just listen to you talk. A music-less option for your vids would be divine. 🥰

Sophie, I just found you and your bubbly personality, beautiful smile, and kind heart show through so strong in you, and in your art. I love how you experiment with new pens, designs, characters and colors in your work. Its very inspiring and I really resonate with you. I love when I buy a new pencil set and use them for the first time or try a new paper texture to see how the pencil and paint work together with it. I have book upon book of ideas that I want to hone and create from them what they want to be. It’s so fascinating, isn’t it. Peace, blessings and joy to you sweet soul! Thank you. I drew in my sketchbook for the first time today in over a year. Just did some silly little doodles and some watercolor blobs. It felt really good to remind my hands they know what to do. I'm trying my best not to be too perfect about it, easier said than done haha!
Those close-up pans showing all that glorious paper texture= YUM! 👌✨ I think I took a tour through this sketchbook right in the middle of your 'Collectors' series, it was so nice to go back through and see things I'd missed. The ladies in vases spread I think is one of my faves, though, to be fair, I have many favourites. Love hearing your chuckle about the 'blobby phase' and the 'photo self-portraits'🤣

I watched your video about the one week sketchbook challenge you did and I resonated so much with how you approach your sketchbooks. It really reminded me of what I used to enjoy about working in a sketchbook before I got so in my head about it. This video as well has reminded me of how I liked to approach sketchbooks and really makes me think of how to reconnect with my joy surrounding sketchbooks rather than making them into an object of self criticism
