When my dad bought a new 98' Explorer, he had the dealer order him the mud flaps. When they showed up, they were so ugly he refused to take them and there was a big weird argument with the parts manager about it. Thanks for reminding me of that.
NGL, the thing I like most about this channel is the pure joy in the eyes of a Sarah when giving things the beans. You can't fake that. Honest host makes best content.
Great to see you perform some fun work that doesn’t break your back or have you squatting for hours. Question: What’s the difference between a “snapperdoodle” and a “clipperdoodle”? Trying to update my SnT technical manual. 😉 Thank you, Sarah. 👍👍👍
Thank you for taking the time sharing this video, the engine cover in my eyes was the tip of the century lol, i ordered the cover with the part number you showed on the box, while pricey it fit like a glove, Now i am waiting on the tuner to be delivered, thank you for all you do.

Cool video, Sarah. It looks like Ford Performance finally got on the bandwagon, with regard to their tuners. I have Cobb tuners for my 2.3 Mustang and Focus RS and they're very similar. I also admire your resourcefulness in fitting the engine cover to your Bronco. Keep up the great work. In other words, "screw the screws."
Well done Sarah! Show'n Pokey some love… we need LOTS more Pokey stand-alone content. Hell, I'll even be happy for some Pokey cameo appearances in your project content.
You Rock, that is my Truck on this video. I had no idea you could tune it, and with a unit from ford! So cool, I'm so excited for all the things available for this thing.
Sarah, I realize that it must be a lot of work to film and edit your wonderfully entertaining RUclips videos but I readily admit that I don't feel "ok" if I don't see you at least once a day. So thank you for allowing us into your life and please keep up the wonderful content!
That is so cool that Ford churns out their own tuners! Nice too that you can adjust for those slightly larger tires. Your Bronco is just the best looking one around as everything fits so nice with the OEM look.
This 15 minute video flew by like it was just one minute - informative, entertaining, and the music was so relaxing. Glad to see your happy face when you finished adding mods to Pokey. Now waiting for Junkyard Dave to appear - when two very cool youtubers meet, the result should be something 😺👍
I am concerned with what modifications I can do with a new car, namely our 2.3. So a factory tune will not void the warranty, how about if I change the down pipe. Any ideas are much appreciated
I wish Ford would issue a non-removable roof so they can give the windows actual frames. I hopped out of one and barely bumped the window and it vibrated like heck. The old Subaru's were this way. That's a really informative video Sarah.
Love the subtle inappropriate jokes that cut out too much. I really like everything you’ve done on your bronco. If I had the moneys I’d probably do the same stuff but I wish they still made it in cyber orange 😢. Keep up the great content 🫡

@@SarahnTuned That's for sure the few times I took my new cars to dealers they messed up. Worst case was putting the wrong oil in my transfer case which resulted in them having to replace bearings and a gear.
@@SarahnTuned Oh definitely. I meant to remark on the uniqueness of Ford offering something like this directly, rather than having to resort to a third party tuner and hope not to blow anything up.
The installation manual on the Ford Performance website has instructions on how to enable and disable rev match. Has to do with the brake pedal and the cruise control + or - buttons.
I got the Ford Performance tune for my Ranger. I found that after the tune was added my transmission shifted a little bit better (Rangers have the 10 speed auto). Off the line I no longer bog and mileage increased slightly. Overall drivability is much better... It's almost fun to drive now, before it was very frustrating to drive. The engine cover does look nice. I might have to look into getting one... The 2022 Ranger didn't come with an engine cover. Love your content and am enjoying your Toyota build. :-)
Thank you Sarah! Always am anticipating your cute "Lil Adlibs." Guess I have been watching enough wherein I now actually say them "with you!" Getting into your mindset! Git Er Done! Ur dah Best! Thank You, J
That engine cover is what's up. When I got rid of the air box/engine cover on my 2.5 VW, I didn't wanna leave it newd - much like the Bronco. A Beetle engine cover solved it just the same.
The Performance Tune is well worth the expense. The increase in power is very noticeable, doesn't affect the gas mileage, and eliminates the auto off/start function.
I did the Ford Performance Tune on my 2020 Explorer ST and am happy with it. On top of extra “beans” (draggy numbers not calculated yet) I’ve noticed a 1-2 mpg increase. Although I know it’s not the goal you’ll have to let us know if you see any difference.
Damn you, Sarah! I've been putting off that Procal & putting it off & putting it off...Now I must have it!!! Thank you for the Bronco content. I love my 2dr Badlands.
Apparently you can turn off the auto rev-matching if you choose. You make sure the car is on (they say it doesn't matter if engine is on), hold the brake down, then hold the cruise control "-" button until the tach lights up red and reads 8k RPM then release the cruise control "-" button, it will read 2k RPM for a couple seconds then start reading as normal, then you can release the brake pedal. To turn it back on, repeat the same steps but with the cruise control "+" button instead, and the tach will read 4k RPM as confirmation instead of 2k.
Hey, not sure if you figured it out or not, but you can disable auto rev-match by stopping, holding the brake, then hold the cruise speed - button to disable it. Do the same with cruise + to turn it back on.
I have seen from Matt's Off-Road Recovery YT videos of that problem with the tie rods with Broncos. One of their employees just got new one and a video showing that and other mods.
Glad to see you doing something less intense, you work so hard so a simplier job is nicer for you. Also keep and eye on that engine, they put the head gaskets on wrong for the focus RS
a little paint protection film goes a long way in doing what it's designed to do. behind wheels, door handles, mirrors, and obviously, and more importantly, the front end.
FYI, the tune will feel much better once the octane mod hits 1.0, 0.0 is base octane adjust... Shouldn't be an issue getting the full OAR on 91, that's the minimum recommended octane for the Ford tune (I used to have one on my Mustang)
@@SarahnTuned a few gallons of that couldn't hurt 😉 Quick shortcut to raise the OAR: Go out on the highway, hold a low rpm in a higher gear, something that will keep you about 2500rpm... Hold part throttle and try to hold around 10psi boost for more than 10 seconds, might take a few tries to get full octane adjust, but it'll get there.
Have to say, the Celica without any paint looks friggin awesome.
