By the way when I'm referring to drops I just mean the premature fruit. Basically passion fruit falls from the vine when it's ripe for whoever doesn't know. A lot of the time I just refer to undeveloped lackluster fruits as drops. Not to confuse you with the fact that when a passion fruit is developed enough it drops. It depends on the vine and the stage of ripeness when you would enjoy to eat them. All passion fruit Vines behave different due to growing conditions and seedling variation. If you want to know what you're getting when you plant a passion fruit Vine then I recommend acquiring a cutting grown passion fruit that will give you a specific variety.
