They changed weeklies so that the appear every month, saying that they're implementing a new system (that was at least 5-6 months ago, and they started putting skins on the store, which makes it obvious that it was a lie). On top of that, they're making generally everything more expensive, with some of the stuff being obvious scams. The Barbie movie collab skins were just pink-tinted guns, yet they were around 5,000 tokens EACH

Fun fact: did you know that the orange ink you’re using on your maker pen will get smaller as you use up the ink like a real pen or glue gun depending on how big or small the invention or room is. The attention to detail on the maker pen is pretty cool Ngl. I didn’t realize it until now when I’m editing my room and i can see the orange part of the maker pen going down.
On one hand I think ink being removed is amazing but also I'm pretty sure that would completely break the game. Rec room is so poorly optimized on almost all platforms. Even when I play on pcvr I still get stuck in the 30 fps area in custom rooms. And on quest 2 I don't think it gets any better since the game just dips into the 20s which isn't okay and ps4 and xbox one barely run the game anymore. I think one of the problems is that rec room is still able to be updated with these issues which isn't a good thing because then they know they don't have to fix things to get the game working.

What might happen with custom Ugc items would be what's happening in Roblox right now they take an expensive item like the Valkyrie(from Roblox) cut pieces off and sell those individual and when you put them all on together it makes the expensive item for way cheaper (let's say the valk costs 900,000 robux if you buy the separate items it'll cost you about 800 robux) hope the people who read this can understand

If y’all noticed, everything they’re releasing that’s so damn expensive is not targeted to be something everyone wants. Go get everyone’s opinion on the new lore shop, most will say it sucks and I’m most definitely sure RR is aware of what people think about it. It’s also not like RR is forcing people to buy tokens, it is fully up to you. They’re also using this money for good, they gave us RR studio which is amazing that we can make realistic rooms so similar to games like vrc, they needed to sue that kid, and RR is still trying to give us more features and fix bugs faster with the money.

its probably that somewhere in the circuits or inside a circuit board you have a beta chip/component selected, which you cant put in inventions. or, the selection may contain inventions from others with permissions that dont allow you to save them.
coming from roblox, ugc may not be a VERY good Idea, we have copied items and literal innapropiate stuff being posted every day, but i guess if rec room moderation can be better than roblox's i guess its good
No more ink would actually make me enjoy creating in recroom again I made a map called "Backrooms Survival" that got like 7k visits, unfortunately i couldnt make it as good as it could be "Thanks to AI stuff costing about 60 ink" ...So if this happens ill make another map probably
