Method no 3 worked me, except I did on on my device that wasnt recognized correctly, not usb hub.

my laptop not reading my phone
Hello @michelleannetabara8387 I hope you are using DATA cable, (as charging cable will not transfer data, means you will not be able to brows through your phone but it will still charge). Thank you so much for watching and commenting.
