Tv host: Congratulations, you have won 22000... Person: Dollars?! Wow! Tv host: Wrong, 22000 VND! Person: can you exchange it to dollars right now? Tv host: Here is your dollar, sir.
Aleksandar Popovic Heres a joke. How do you become a millionaire?Simply go to a currency exchange place and exchange USD 50 for 1,100,100 VND,bam, your a millionaire now.
That's exactly what I was thinking, because 1000 korean won is about 89 cents. The 1000 won note is equivalent roughly to the dollar, with the actual value fluctuating lower these days.
Well, who cares about the "Nominal Value"... Korean won or Japanese yen is tens of folds more valuable than other countries money. How about making a real video with comparing for example buying a leaf of a bread or car or something that you can compare.
its not about conversion per se but about exchange and adquisition power. In Korea 10,000 won gets you the same goods and services as 10 dollars in America, things cost about the same. Where as in Colombia 10,000 pesos is enough to barely get you a Mc Donalds combo
+Alishchan It is about the supply and demand. If the demand of one tuna is more than supply, so the prices will going up rapidly. No wonder the food in Japan hiking like a crazy because it is about demand. Currency or forex exchange is about the trade between two or more currencies. It influenced by the perceptions, country economic performance, politics, foreign influences, exchange rate etc.
Cảnh Huy Nguyễn 2 times than in america? How about try fighting against singapore,my home country, where car prices are literally 3 times more expensive than in america due to many taxes like vietnam, but worst.
James I went to Vietnam last month... I only brought less than ₱100 (Philippine Peso btw, so it should be about ₱50.00 to $1) in Vietnam (someone else was paying for the trip) and apparently that mean I had tens of thousands of Vietnamese dong!!!! Also the person accompanying me was literally a millionaire there!
Japanese & South Korean currencies do not belong to this list. Just because their higher numerical exchange rates to the U S dollar do not mean anything. Both countries are among the 10 best economies in the world! it's the GDP that counts !!Ask any currency trader, he will tell you that the YEN, U S $, EURO, SWISS FRANC and the British Pound are the widely traded currencies in the world!
I trade currencies and let me tell you, the japanese yen is one of the most powerbal and valuable currencies... This did nothing except compare a currency to the US dollar
MajapahitMapper Actually at home I have this small 25 Rupiah coin. But indeed its' intrinsical value is probably more than 25 Rupiah compared to the dollar or euro. It's already out of circulation but the 50 coin still exists as far as I'm aware
Dude value of each currency depends on its value in its own country or its value in international money market. USA being the super power we exchange the currencies with the world in $'s this vid is bs the method of comparing the value of currencies used in this vid is wrong, it was once a theory but this method of measuring was prooved wrong. Value of currency depends on its demand and supply in international money market and its rate changes everyday
it's just a number, no different yen and dollar in value perception, high number don't mean least valuable, they can cut the number when they want it (denominating), but denominating can make market be confused., japan, south korea, indonesia, is top economic global, look at liberia and nigeria using dollar, their number of dollar same with US dollar, but their economic is still too worst
Wow!! Just wow...most countries in south america use peso...mostly the ones who speak spanish....because peso was actually from the spaniards...but later spain change its currency to euro
M Lau if it is people will be consumed and the countries can't grow because they cat get any devisa for example countries like Indonesia gets devisa from American tourist that have dollars
Sometimes value determined by how much purchasing power you can have with the bill at hand. I call it the Standard Nominal for currency starting from: 100 Japan Yen, 1000 Korean Won, 1000 Indo Rupiah, 10 Thai Baht for realistic value comparation. Then see the difference in exchange rate
Inaccurate information. In some countries, the starting unit is not 1. In USA, the starting unit is $1. In Indonesia, the starting unit is 1000 IDR. In Japan, the starting unit is 100 Yen.
I was surprised to see 1 USD= 1140KRW of South Korean Currency. Is like my country Somalia where 1 USD= 10001111119099099 of Somali shillings. Now we don't even bother to change money to the local Currency because we will need removal truck.
The person who made this video only compared the numbers on the bills. This is a very stupid way to compare money’s value. (And not how any experts do it) if you want real answers, I suggest you look elsewhere.
I hope u know that the 0's (numbers) do NOT mean that the money is less valuable... For example, Hungary dont have another unit like cent so instead, there are two more zeros.
They forgot Kazakhstan 's Tenge. 1 US Dollar : about 320 to 330 currently! So how accurate is this list??? Guys you need to do your research better! And 2 years ago when this video was posted it was not much different!
I have spent money in several of those countries. Vietnam Indonesia Columbia the real value is what you can buy with whatever the currency. Sri Lanka should be in this list too. 150 or so
If you said value, you must value their Foreign exchange reserves... because value means worth or worthless currency... like 1 USD is 6 CNY but it doesn't mean China Renminbi is worthless then US Dollar.
Value is not linked to size. I was visiting Botswana. I am a South African. It costed one Rand forty cents for a Phula. As I started spending, I got the same for my money. Most of the shops is South African chain shops. The sunday I could not find a Botswana newspaper. But Rapport, an Afrikaans newdpaper was readily available. The question is not the exchange rate on currency, but what you can actually do with the money.
yeah, but 20,000 HUF worth 788 USD, 50,000 KRW worth 47 USD, 10,000 JPY worth 94.20 USD, 20,000 CLP worth 33.20 USD. All in their highest denomination in their paper money 100,000 IDR only worth 7 USD and it is also its highest denomination Indonesia is the best country where the corrupt rules the dumb
dealers still charge too much,,, they take advantage of collectors and over charge , one can purchase notes at money exchange locations for face value.
You are being misleading. For example in Hungary we don't have petty change like cents and pence, hence the huge numbers. So if you consider removing 2 zeros from the end, it's pretty decent, especially if you consider real value(a pint of beer will only really go above the £3 mark - 1000Ft in the middle of the party district in Budapest). I recon it's a similar situation in other cases. We could cut 2 zeros and reintroduce the fillér instead, but no point just to make foreigners more safe about numbers.
Indonesia at 80's have the strong value rate, like Japan. 10000 Rupiah worth like 10000 Yen. Do you know, if 1999 50000 Rupiah (features Wage Rudolf Soepratman) note uses the same paper as Kidzania Kidzos use? But Kidzos have more thicker paper than it, my friend said.
Tv host: Congratulations, you have won 22000...
Person: Dollars?! Wow!
Tv host: Wrong, 22000 VND!
Person: can you exchange it to dollars right now?
Tv host: Here is your dollar, sir.
chó
Hahhaa wtf
Aleksandar Popovic Heres a joke. How do you become a millionaire?Simply go to a currency exchange place and exchange USD 50 for 1,100,100 VND,bam, your a millionaire now.
Nahh, they will take the half as for taxes
22000 vietnamese dongs
this video compare the number, not value
That's exactly what I was thinking, because 1000 korean won is about 89 cents. The 1000 won note is equivalent roughly to the dollar, with the actual value fluctuating lower these days.
I agree and this video is totally wrong. They put the Korean won in there and 1000 won is like South Korea's 1 dollar.
Nazmi Hey you're right

Well, who cares about the "Nominal Value"... Korean won or Japanese yen is tens of folds more valuable than other countries money. How about making a real video with comparing for example buying a leaf of a bread or car or something that you can compare.
+Alishchan "a loaf of bread"
+Pat Morac and Alishchan Then! certainly! a loaf of paper,ha,ha,ha
its not about conversion per se but about exchange and adquisition power. In Korea 10,000 won gets you the same goods and services as 10 dollars in America, things cost about the same. Where as in Colombia 10,000 pesos is enough to barely get you a Mc Donalds combo

Thankyou
And I thought I was rich when I ran across 1.3 million Vietnamese dong. LOL
As of july 2018:
1. Venezuela Bolívar Fuerte
1 USD = 80,000 Bs.F.
2. Iranian rial
1 usd = 62,000 IRR (roughly)
3.Vietnamese dong
1 usd = D 22,000
4. Indonesian Rupiah
1 USD = Rp 15000
I heard in Vietnam, when you buy a car, people will bring money in briefcases is that true?
James That true, in fact, the car price in Vietnam is two times expensive as American is :) - due to special tax and various fees
Cảnh Huy Nguyễn 2 times than in america? How about try fighting against singapore,my home country, where car prices are literally 3 times more expensive than in america due to many taxes like vietnam, but worst.
no I think they bring in another one car .
James I went to Vietnam last month... I only brought less than ₱100 (Philippine Peso btw, so it should be about ₱50.00 to $1) in Vietnam (someone else was paying for the trip) and apparently that mean I had tens of thousands of Vietnamese dong!!!!

Ill give a paycheck however low the cirrency may be lol😂😂

I trade currencies and let me tell you, the japanese yen is one of the most powerbal and valuable currencies... This did nothing except compare a currency to the US dollar

(As on 16/12/19)
Hhahaha now it's 160000rial 2020
Well 1usd = 50 php
Japan is the same as us there lowest bill is a 1000 yen its about 10 usd
I thought Zimbabwe was the worst one
Literally a 10 Million Dollar bank note lmao
actually 1 rupiah worth nothing, and just to buy a candy you need at least 1500 rupiahs
well there isnt a 1 rupiah money in indonesia only 500,1000,2000,5000,10000,20000,50000,100000 only that :/
There used to be a 1 rupiah coin, in the Suharto era
supah fett yeah I don't think even that is actually a number in the currency
MajapahitMapper Actually at home I have this small 25 Rupiah coin. But indeed its' intrinsical value is probably more than 25 Rupiah compared to the dollar or euro. It's already out of circulation but the 50 coin still exists as far as I'm aware
supah fett you can buy yupi candy for 200 rupiah, but still that's lot of numbers
Now I need more space in my wallet...
Venezuela.
776000181
Was ur pfp from SMG4?
and you can be millionaire at Indonesia if you have 100usd.
Keep in mind!!!
Rp.100.000 is actually Rp.100
or Rp.1 = Rp.1000
So you can't be a millionare in here
RM1000 = 3,000,000Rp
100USD = 1,200,000Rp
+SADru Reenz
Still not a millionare though
RM1000 = Rp. 3000
= Rp. 3,000,000
USD100 = Rp. 1200
= Rp. 1,200,000
So people get the facts right
Woah and i thought philippine money was bad
50 pesos = $1

currently the least valued currency is Iranian Rial (IRR)... 1 USD= 32000 RIALS
Neema Paxima wrykxbm. pzmworb
today Zimbabwe currency has least.
+LetsNotTalkAboutName
Actually Iranian Rial is still the least valued currency and Zimbabwe Dollar doesn't really exist anymore
some one make a updated list of the top 10 or 15 least valuable currencies.
@@TheNecropolis20 Now 1 US Dollar is 270,000 Iranian Rials, I know it's hard to believe
What about zimbabwean dollar
Keo Wardous It's no longer in use
Capitalist Anonymous and us dollars too

And i take that personally
In 2015 the Belarusian Ruble cost about 20000 rubles for 1 USD, but now that the ruble has been denominated it is now about 2 rubles for 1 dollar
it's just a number, no different yen and dollar in value perception, high number don't mean least valuable, they can cut the number when they want it (denominating), but denominating can make market be confused., japan, south korea, indonesia, is top economic global,

I betcha they use scientific calculators rather than the 8 digit ones HAHAHA!
I guess not just The Philippines uses Peso. Chileans too, So do Colombians
Wow!! Just wow...most countries in south america use peso...mostly the ones who speak spanish....because peso was actually from the spaniards...but later spain change its currency to euro
Boy, theres like 20 countries that use pesos, there Of course not te same
Pokédollars
Like srsly a coffee is 198-?!
Yup, as an Indonesian we are a G20 country but our money are so cheap in USD. If a car is 10K in US, it would be 133,500,000 Rupiahs here!
Why can’t the value of currencies be the same in every country on Earth ?
M Lau if it is people will be consumed and the countries can't grow because they cat get any devisa for example countries like Indonesia gets devisa from American tourist that have dollars
Confused sorry
it would be highly unbalanced like vietnamese would have billions
well i would have around 600 dollars
Sometimes value determined by how much purchasing power you can have with the bill at hand. I call it the Standard Nominal for currency starting from: 100 Japan Yen, 1000 Korean Won, 1000 Indo Rupiah, 10 Thai Baht for realistic value comparation. Then see the difference in exchange rate

Yen is not valuable, but strong.
I was surprised to see 1 USD= 1140KRW of South Korean Currency. Is like my country Somalia where 1 USD= 10001111119099099 of Somali shillings. Now we don't even bother to change money to the local Currency because we will need removal truck.
i cant beleve there is dong for currecy
GlassPottato Lol yeah why vietnam would use "DONG" as their currency lol
Currently, the most inflated currency is actually the IRR Iranian Rial where the currency exchange rate is 1 dollar=42000 rial.
I'm surprised that the philippine peso was not included,
Foreigners always say that everything is cheap in the Philippines
Japanese yen are more valuable than dinar
+Butet Harahap This video is based on Exchange rates value.
+All Top 10's But rate number is not an accurate measure of value. This is an entirely oversimplified way of looking at foreign currency.
Selling price of items in each country is different u cant just say that these money is least valuable.
until 1997 poland's currency wasn't valuable, us$ was worth 22 726,95 PLZ at peak moment today its 3.96 PLN
In Pakistan for 100 rupees (1$) u can get a juice (Rs25), a medium size chips (Rs30) or larger one (Rs50) and extra large for (100Rs)
Back in the 2000s a soda drink was worth 16000 in romania 😂
They showed one of the least valuable in the thumbnail
Zachary Osman Malaysian detected
Rupiah Indonesia
What about Uzbek sums
i saw my country’s in the thumbnail and raged very hard
Indonesian Rupiah is in Thumbnail and second! We are *ANGERY!*
Im always complaining about argentinian pesos being worthless bit seeing this video made me feel better
And I thought mine currency was weak(serbia dinar 1 USD = 120 RSD)
Wow very nice collection banknote ❤❤❤🙏🙏
how about Philippine Peso?
to be clear, the least valuable is by its single unit, not all by its highest value banknote.
Good old times when i could buy a dollar for under 300 forints
The Japanese Yen is a very powerful currency! Someone really didn't do their homework here.
Where is Belarus money??? It worth like 22000 for 1 $
The person who made this video only compared the numbers on the bills. This is a very stupid way to compare money’s value. (And not how any experts do it) if you want real answers, I suggest you look elsewhere.
And I thought we were bad with the '1 peso = 20 dollars' thing. Feels a little bit better to be Argentinian right now.
Good thing the Phillipine Peso isn't mentioned
And currency of Cambodia and Laos?? Guess those countries must be richer and more powerful than I thought!
I remember when 1USD used to be around 32.000 Romanian lei. Ohhh, those were the days.
Indonesian money
Rupiah.
Rupiah are trash
This dude is indonesian
BOCAH JELEEK Overproud?

Paraguayian guaraní, 1 dolar = 5000 PG
I hope u know that the 0's (numbers) do NOT mean that the money is less valuable... For example, Hungary dont have another unit like cent so instead, there are two more zeros.
Using Rupiah in a thumbnail just so you can attract those indos? Smart man..
They forgot Kazakhstan 's Tenge. 1 US Dollar : about 320 to 330 currently! So how accurate is this list??? Guys you need to do your research better! And 2 years ago when this video was posted it was not much different!
Iraqi currency??
I literally remembered buying a pack of instant ramen it coasted me 500 Dinar
This video is completely wrong. They are just comparing the numbers
In 2019 it is the venasualan bolivar
What confuses me is the south Korea Japan and Vietnam all have money that is worth less than North Korea and Zimbabwe money
Indonesian Rupiah experienced a Sanering (Sjafruddin's Scissors obligation) and Devaluation in 1950 and 1965.
I have spent money in several of those countries. Vietnam Indonesia Columbia the real value is what you can buy with whatever the currency. Sri Lanka should be in this list too. 150 or so
Colombia not Columbia
So that basically means that we have to bring trucks of cash to buy vehicles
Being a billionaire in Vietnam would be very easy 😆
dude do you know the value of kenyan currency .... :| its one of the best countries in africa
On The Beats he's stupid he doesn't even knows where is kenya
On The Beats i hope this guy doesnt know the meaning of numbers ad VALUE ...by the way kenyan currency is the highest
Kenyan shilling is here but not CFA. €1=656 CFA francs (655.957 exactly).
only 2 currencies here - Japanese Yen and Korean won are highly undervalued due to currency manipulation by their respective countries
If you said value, you must value their Foreign exchange reserves... because value means worth or worthless currency... like 1 USD is 6 CNY but it doesn't mean China Renminbi is worthless then US Dollar.

The question is not the exchange rate on currency, but what you can actually do with the money.
You forgot, LAK - Lao Kips and PhP - Philippines Pesos.
I Shocked At The Thumbnail
modern indonesian rupiah didnt using cent like the old days. if indonesian rupiah using cent, it would be $1= Rp13,3
yeah, but
20,000 HUF worth 788 USD, 50,000 KRW worth 47 USD,
10,000 JPY worth 94.20 USD, 20,000 CLP worth 33.20 USD.
All in their highest denomination in their paper money
100,000 IDR only worth 7 USD
and it is also its highest denomination
Indonesia is the best country where the corrupt rules the dumb
we shouldn't judge the currency value by exchange rate, but rather how much we can buy, Japanese yen definitely shouldn't be on this list!
Hey guys did you know that in (2018) from what year I'm watching is that the Albanian lek is more valuable than the Japanese yen.
dealers still charge too much,,, they take advantage of collectors and over charge , one can purchase notes at money exchange locations for face value.
Yen skips the decimal; ¥100 is $1 to them.
Why is the Canadian dollar not on this list?
Canadian dollar is worth 75 cents, its one of the best currencys
Indonesia is dynamic country ,the price of food mostly the same with south east Asia country
You are being misleading. For example in Hungary we don't have petty change like cents and pence, hence the huge numbers. Nice banknotes
I see Indonesia, I click. Hidden paradise.
Ignoring the fact Pakistani uses rupees? Ok then
Indonesia at 80's have the strong value rate, like Japan. 10000 Rupiah worth like 10000 Yen.
Do you know, if 1999 50000 Rupiah (features Wage Rudolf Soepratman) note uses the same paper as Kidzania Kidzos use? But Kidzos have more thicker paper than it, my friend said.
