This is a great. using the digital marketer template, I asked to GPT4 to create for other persona and it did it for me (had to correct it to version I wanted though). it could be a solution who is struggled to purchase the custom instruction from this channel.

I actually started experimenting with some of the entrepreneurial ones for my social content and it works surprisingly well as it aligns with my personal interests. At the end of the day you will have to mix and match multiple lines to match your needs.

i have been doing this method of MODULAR prompting and this is very powerful i divide my prompts into specific regions and like engines of their own . this is very similar to that except for Role PROMPTS. this makes them easier to edit and also becoz i want to control every single aspect of the output , its like having a slider . damn i wonder if we can have sliders as well haha

Question: Is custom instructions just a wrapper? Something chatGPT injects in every prompt? And if so, would it give similar results if you use this in the prompt itself and compare it with the custom instructions result? In Netherlands we don't have access yet to custom instructions.

custom instructions is a user friendly representation of the system prompt. Everything you put here is being injected inside chatgpt system prompt, which has 10x more powerful impact. That's because of how system prompt works. ChatGPT can't "see" it but does everything that it says and doesn't forget about that.
Love the video. I do have a question about this. Lets say you are building content around a persona FOR a client, should we create a ChatGPT account for that client where we can input the prompts that are specific to them or do we just swap out in our accounts?

I've been doing this by asking GPT4 to craft roles for me. But this seems way more streamlined. I'm going to mix and match your way and my way, I'll see what I come up with.

Each one of them maxes out the limit of the available fields. But what you can do (and this is reccommended) is combine multiple personas into one by deleting and copy pasting certain lines together.

The feature influences all of ChatGPT BUT there is a little toggle switch where you can easily switch them off.
I am sure they will add multiple profiles over time. It just makes too much sense.

Persona Engineering! Can these be automated some how with the right Prompts?
So just to be fully transparent, once we deciced on a base layout and some samples we generated these with a 8 prompt sequence but there is always the manual component of "hat is the typical use case going to be" or "what attributes do we actually wanna include and how much depth should each one have" or "how do we set this up so it's easily customizable". Hope that helps.
Can I change the Custom Instructions depending on what kind of persona I need? Like, let's say I have multiple income streams (personas)...a non-fiction book writer, a faceless RUclips channel, and a digital marketing agency for insurance agencies. Can I "switch" Custom Instructions depending on which persona I need to create material for?
You can switch by manually deleting and pasting a new persona. No better way to do it as of now.

On both my iphone and Mac I could not copy and paste texts on Custom ChatGPT !!!

I hope he mentions that you can't share the custom GPT for other people to use unless they have GPT Plus. Can ChatGPT Custom Instructions access the internet? I want to add a custom command to take a writing style from an example URL, I can use it in 'normal' ChatGPT but I can't work out if the Custom Instruction is actually getting the info, or just guessing what it is from the URL.

ive been trying every single JailBreak there is in existence for ChatGPT and none of them work anymore well theres like 2 jail Breaks that work 50% of the time which are Dan 11.0 and Dan 13.5 which is being Updated every 5mins those are the only 2 that work as of now but for how long they work remains to be seen i might have to try custom instructions to make it do what i want it to do

Whatever i try, (even asking ChatGPT for help on how to write the instruction so it does work), I cant get it to ask me clarifying questions ONE AT THE TIME instead of all questions listed in one single message. This one for example doesnt work:
"Begin with your initial query or request.
After receiving the initial response, if it's not clear or you need more specific information, you can ask your clarifying question one at a time, each time waiting for a response before proceeding to the next clarifying question."
I simply want it to learn from the answer before asking a new one.

Behind the scenes it’s set up to only apply them if they are relevant to your prompt. You could add a line at the beginning that forces them to apply every single time .

How are you viewingt it? Every field has a “copy to clipboard” button when you hover over it. It’s also all stored in a databse that comes with it.
I tried to copy it from the link you sent. It wasn’t until, after much frustration, that I saw the quick mention you said of some strange website called Notion that I’ve never heard of or new how to work. I was then able to figure out how to build a notion page. What a pain in the ass!! All I wanted was a PDF! You should warn people that this takes many extra steps to make work. Not everyone is as experienced as you.
