I’ve been shooting cars for the last 5 years or so. There’s so many brands I still want to shoot. What’s dream car brand to shoot? What about the dream car?
Chris Hau uuu I’ve been waiting for a new car video from You! I’ve recently started trying it myself, not as easy as it looks! I’d love to shoot Porsche cars, I love the lines, or Lamborghini. I’m shooting my Skoda right now, so a little bit off my goals but testing out your suggestions in your other films. Dream car to shoot, probably 911 turbo from the 90’s. Great film, thank You!
About 12 years ago had police detectives called on me once and questioned for photographing multiple cars at the same location on an industrial estate. Apparently some karen complained suspecting I was dealing with stolen cars coz she'd seen me more than once with these fancy looking cars. When I showed the detectives the client's website, they just laughed the whole thing off and were fascinated by the car photography world.
She probably complained that she seen you hauling out large body sized bags and putting them in your trunk that was filled with your lighting equipment too
@@thechrishau you are right, not entirely, but for real it is a great way, and it isn't hard to make those friends, lots of them are really friendly people, especially if you happen to meet them when they are in their zone!
I've been contemplating learning how to do photography, but more specifically, car photography because of my love for cars. This is the first RUclips video I've watched on it and I must say I found it super informative and entertaining. Got me psyched to go out and start practicing! Thanks man!🙌🏾
As a detailer, my pro tip would be if a vehicle has already been clean and you are going to a shoot location, carry a bucket with a gamma seal lid full of water and rinseless wash mixture. Then you can safely wash the car on the fly. If the car is not covered in dirt, you can also go for the waterless wash method (NOT QUICK DETAILER).
I love the tips and advice you provide but more than anything, I love your impersonations and witty humour. They have me cracking up the whole time and they genuinely make watching consecutive 10-15minute+ videos so enjoyable whilst still learning!
Also: check your pockets, clothes, etc and secure loose hanging things. It's super easy to create scratches with things you never expect to- take NO chances.
I do security in a pretty photogenic part of my city. Had a group of kids come down with their cars, a Dodge Charger and a Pontiac G8, nothing too crazy but they had em dressed up real nice. They saw me and started getting back in their cars, so I asked em how loud they get. Kids were confused at first, but one of em ended up redlining that Charger HARD. Just so happened to have my DSLR in my car at the time and offered to take a few photos for em. Now I'm known as the cool rent-a-cop 😂
Hey man, you should change the aspect ratio of future videos to 2:1. So when uploaded, people on newer phones can see the video full screen and not have half your head cut off. Just something you should think about 🤷🏼♂️. Great video though. Learned a lot. Thanks 😊

Just so people dont hear @8:40 and shy away because they think they need a high megapixel camera.. Contrary to your example, billboards don't use high MP images because they're seen from so far away. Most billboards are printed at the equivalent of like 6 megapixels.. so you don't always need the extra 40.

A macro lens to shoot the logo and brakes? I mean I understand the size of the image in the sensor but macro lens are mostly for macro photography, like 2cm from the lens close...
