Like I said in my comment I think you're going to use this as an excuse to put the surge monsters in from the Isle of siptah, so possibly they're just going to edit the loot tables of them to where they drop stuff other than the malestorm items and put in the siege beast... Over there going to put in an area where you can actually use the male storm items (I would not be surprised if they use this as an excuse to make use of one of the imp caves, like how they used the corrupted shellback cave in the first stage of sorcery update to give you sorcery.) But yeah I totally agree with the idea of that we're probably going to see more serpent men in the game or at least people who are aligned with them in an upcoming dungeon.
My guess is we will no longer be bound to the exiled lands, and will possibly start to expand out to existing life and society outside the exiled lands.
I always love Conan exiles humor. Does a blood ritual sacrifice and human sacrifice then gets corrupted. Oh no, how do I fix this? Wait a minute I know what will fix it, a trip to the club will. Always a treat to see more lore videos. Keep up the great work.
The next age may take place on a new map, either a moderately expanded Exiled Lands (the northeast has been mentioned by Dennis), or an entirely redone Exiled Lands map, disappearing the instances into pockets, as is practice on (modded, but developed with Funcom staff contributing) Savage Lands map, which could then be significantly expanded. Or maybe even a third official map. Anyway, the story really hints at changes in scenery coming our way after the last age introduced a massive new (though looooooooooooong promised) game mechanic.
You and me both! Lovecraftian storytelling always wins me over, but seeing as I think they'll be going for something a little less dark in the next age, it'll be interesting to see what they come up with
Thanks Scar, glad you enjoyed it! I've got a whole playlist with plenty more lore videos, covering broad-stroke topics like this and more niche ones too
Oh... Oh that's not good. This sounds like a perfect excuse for them try to put the surge beasts into the exiled lands, them being summoned by his death curse for brief periods of time
I could see that as a possibility, especially as a way to balance power between Siptah and TEL with server transfers re-enabled in the future. I do have a video coming about potential future ages though
Wonderful lore video as usual ❤ can't wait to discover what's next in the new age that's going to be released in the future, there are many parts in the map that are blank and need to be filled. 🤔
It's a task and a half sometimes 😂 I've got most of the lore around the Age of Sorcery memorized now, but a lot of the contextual lore comes from third party sources, or item descriptions and character dialogue
I had to translate them myself 😂 I was able to find a decent R'lyehian dictionary online to translate the post-fight speech, but the only source of the Psyonic language was the book by J. Alan Russell cited towards the end of the video. Once I had that, translation was quite easy
Kind of, this story does interlace with a couple of others but it's mostly a Conan Exiles story. Much of the lore in the game does interweave with the books though
but in the game, the giant-kings seem to be relatively benign. they have human slaves, but they accepted them in their lands, educated them (as in the standing stones), and fed them, until the witch queen started a war.

Wow over a year and i just watch this video, always love lore of the games!
Glad you enjoyed it! I've got another one coming pretty soon 👀
I always love your lore presentations, there’s a lot of nice theatrics to it that we can only do with CE lore - Love it!
Thanks Grim, I always try to get the best presentation possible. Glad you enjoyed!

Damn hyped for the new stuff
love the video. you were right, it did not disappoint and now i am more excited to see what the next Age of Conan will be.

age of sorcery was a good redesign of conan exile's. i'm glad funcom gave us this.
I like the bat glider
@@GrimDarkHalfOff i hope i'm not the only one that has the old batman theme song going on in my head every time i use the bat glider. 🤣
Agreed, the story has taken a bit more of a front seat, and they've definitely improved that storytelling a tonne
Awesome video!
What's the outfit at 2:42 called? I've been looking for proper sorcerer armor for ages!
Thats the armor of Kurak.
Beat the dungeon and touch the tablet behind Kurak to unlock it
10:56 excellent pronunciation from the voice actor
Eradicati0n, Iv been rebuilding your builds and decorating them on official servers. People love it. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much.
I play this game for years and i'm fascinated by the lore.

Great video. I really enjoyed this one.
Thanks Marion, glad you enjoyed it! It was definitely one of my favourites to put together
That was amazing!
I think everyone should RP this lore
Excellent video, still not sure how you get all this from the game lol guess I need to hunt round more

Hey just wondering where you found the translations for Kurak’s speech. I’ve been trying to find the translation for it, but have had no luck.

Breaking the walls will most likely mean "open up the north east area" 😅
wish we had more spells in this game :(
Well there's a strong connection between lovecraft and Howard.
I don't see a link for the books?
Only I could forget to put the link in after making a note to do exactly that 😐 Here ya go!

Noice! So... Is this all based on original Conan books, or..?

@@Eradicati0nn very nice work. Definitely sharing this with mates from Conan
