7:34 okay after watching this video so many times, I finally figured it out. The room on the left is not the window that the “robber” went through, that’s the bedroom where the dude was sleeping. The window on the right is how the “robber” broke in but because it’s raining, the guy who lives there got his feet all wet while staging the break in and got wet footprints in his room after staging the break in, in the jewelry room
Im pretty sure it’s cause the water would have dried by morning if the robber truly broke in at night

I think I understand the jewelry riddle. The wet footprints were in both places. The owner went out his room window and into the jewelry room window. He trashed the place then went back outside to get back into his room. The wet footprints appeared in his room even though the ‘robber’ wouldn’t have gone in there.
