Hrithik doesn’t get enough credit for dancing in character
Well because the song is not like showing him cool, larger than life, romantic number .It is a lot of a part of his character
@@KrishanKumar-ec1ch Exactly, that's what I'm saying. It must be so difficult to dance in character, especially when he's such an amazing dancer...but he remains truthful to his characterization. He should get more credit for that; I can't name any other actor who dances in character.
@@priyabhavaani9272 Agree with what you're saying about Hrithik, but other actors can only showcase something similar to this if they get a similar character where the character is slightly inhibited but not fully inhibited so as not to dance.
@@nyrrovro I don’t mean only with Koi Mil Gaya where he played someone with intellectual disabilities; he’s showcased this ability even in Agneepath in Gun Gun Guna and in Super 30 where he dances as Anand Kumar. I would imagine that’s so difficult! Other actors have even gone on record to say they don’t understand how they can dance in character bc their natural expressions inherently come through (e.g., Shah Rukh Khan actually said this in an interview with Brad Pitt/Rajeev Masand). I just think it’s a really unique skill that Hrithik has cultivated!

The impact this film had created on each & every school kids back in 2003 was just crazy! I was in 6th std when This film released & all of its songs are just amazing and gives a flashback of so many childhood memories every time I hear it! The rainy season comes after a very hot summer in India and so everybody waits eagerly for some relief from the heat which the rain brings.
This is one of my favorite songs ever....it s very underrated but on a lonely night you just put on this song and it will take you back years and hit you with all the nostalgia...the tune itself is just so damn mind soothingly beautiful
All the songs in this film has an edge of softness by the end of each line....inn panchiyo, jaadu,koii mil gaya,etc...all these songs are really really good to listen..They are just feel good songs,neither very kids song nor very adult type of song.

Yeah korbin you said he is fluid ,i always feel ,think like that since childhood.he is the most fluid dancer i have ever seen ,his dance feels like moving of a water.He is the one who took dancing actor crown in 2000s after Govinda and Govinda had taken from Mithun ( First proper male dancer actor of Bollywood)

This is the reaction that made me the HAPPIEST as soon as I got the notification. This was the first movie of Hrithik I saw in my childhood and I am a Die Hard Fan of him since then. Also, this movie made me have an immense crush on Preity Zinta. One of my Favourite films of all time. Also, the songs in this movie are just beautiful. You must watch this movie and also react to all of its songs.

Amitabh has a rain song too...in the movie Shakti (Power) with Smita Patil (someone you really need to watch...great actress!)...this movie features legends: Dilip Kumar-Amitabh playing father-son, Smita Patil (who you should first watch in Mirch Masala playing the protagonist against a deliciously villainous Nasseeruddin Shah) and a very young Anil Kapoor doing a guest appearance as grandson and son to the two thespians.
P.S. Koi Mil Gaya has a great performance by Hrithik as a child-like mentally challenged person (an interesting take on ET you will surely enjoy!).

Why Indians love rain? India is basically country with hot climate, agriculture based economy since ages and agriculture is based on rain water.
So, no rain no water no food. And every aspect of life get effected poorly.
Second, India get main rainy season (Monsoon) after long spell of hot dry season, so rain is like blessing of God over the land, dry dusty land get the cover of green every where after the rain.
So economically and physically we Indians are attached to rain.
Like dancing in rain, we have multiple bollywood songs, folk songs, lot of poetry and raags dedicated to traditional rainy months called Sawan-Bhado. From this you can understand the importance of rain in India.
This movie was hrithiks finest acting. Even in his debut movie Kaho na pyar hai

This movie was and is my favourite for multiple reasons.
1. It paired up two of my most favourite actors, Preity Zinta and Hrithik Roshan. I have a diary where I would collect pictures of these two from all the newspapers, magazines, notebooks and wherever possible. I was that crazy about them as a child. I still love them, but my craziness has mellowed down 😂
2. It was a children's fantasy movie, 2003, I was in 4th standard (9 years old). I was never allowed to go to movie theatre (I am still not) so I was waiting for this movie to be telecasted on TV. Finally when it did, I was at my aunt's place and my cousin is a sadist. He didn't allow to turn on the TV and I remember how much I had cried and screamed. My cousin was just enjoying my pain 😒 Finally, after 10-15 minutes, he switched on the television and I watched it. After that I have watched this movie at least 50 times 😂 (I'm 27 now)
3. The songs of this movie are so so good. I enjoyed them as a child, and I enjoy them as an adult as well. I remember I had danced on *"Haila Haila"* song on my uncle's wedding, I was in 7th standard. It was an embarrassing moment for me because everyone saw me dancing... I cringe when I recall that. 😂😂😂
This movie has given 1000s of feel-good, childhood memories to the 90s and '20s kids. This movie is dear to every Indian kid of that time. 🥺❤️
Korbin is absolutely right, Preity Zinta has a baby face, her cute dimple, chubby and cheerful personality, with a breath of fresh air, which made her instant favourite of the Indian audience. She's a very strong person. I love her ❤️

Unfortunately Govinda lacks films like Guzaarish, Lakshya, Koi Mil Gaya in his kitty which would have helped him exhibit more of his acting skills. Shikari was one movie where I realised Govinda was a capable actor.
@@songbeetdattabiswas5511 Yeah, Govinda didn't get to work with big banners. He climbed to the top by virtue of his own talent. Anyway, you might not have seen many of his movies other than the comedy ones, if you could recall only Shikari. Even that one wasn't a big production film.
