Thanks Mr. Nystrom ... I stopped going to school because I heard horor stories about STATS.
But with your help I passed my Stats class and got my Degree ... Found out the stories were not true.
--I understand why it has such a bad rap... But a lot of it is just learning about learning a new vocabulary and formulas in such a short amount of time.
-Your ability to break it down in a simplic fashion... Now has me watching your STAT videos for fun.... Something I never thought I would say.
Something I am very proud of... The world is constantly influenced by statistics... And when there is a lack of understanding of statistics...
It makes it harder to protect yourself from manipulation and trickery from the studies that are so heavily connected to our way of life now days.

@@MrNystrom you are needed... I've spent a life time thinking I was bad at math and wasn't good at it.
-But you're teaching me that's not the case. -I just needed someone to explain it simplistically with enthusiasm and excitement.
Math is fun, and when it is communicated that way.... The enthusiasm is transferable. And motivates you to put in the right effort to be successful.
--It seems like just because a person is good at math doesn't mean they are good at teaching it, it's like a foreign language.
And then sometimes students assume they are bad at math because the teacher was bad at teaching it general, or more specifically teaching it in a way that communicated it clearly to the individual person.
Different people learn differently. And that is a hard job to translate not only the subject, but translate one subject in multiple ways that on average 30 different students can understand. On top of the wall of math fear/anxiety. The expectations of a teacher are too demanding if you ask me.
But you seem to be living up to the challenge 🙏.

@@MrNystrom thank you very much. Could you please upload more videos on probability theory? Videos on continuous variables, prob mass function, prob distribution functions, cumulative distribution functions, limit theorems, random distribution processes, and estimation theory would be helpful. Thank you and keep up the good work.

I just wondered if there is any video that talks about t test. We are learning about that right now and i am a little confused with that. Thank you so much and i love your videos!
