    You are the BEST!!! I've watched countless (and lengthy) videos on intarsia, but yours was short, sweet, and very easy to understand. Thanks SO MUCH for making your video!!! I've subscribed and can't wait to see what else you have.

    Thank You Carole. I have the LK140 and an Intarsia carriage but hadn't worked out how to use it yet. I appreciate you putting this out there for all of us!

      Can you knit chunky wool on this machine, thank you, LK140

      @@annthompson3246 up to a worsted weight #4. Anything heavier and it's hard to push the carriage

    Nice. I have a LK 140 as well. I will have to purchase an intarsia carriage. Thanks.

    One can do this on the Bond without a special carriage - is the Intarsia carriage really needed on the 140? I am considering the purchase of a 150!

    Hi Carole,
    Great video. I want to get a Knitting Machine. I love the Machine you used in this. Where can I purchase? Thanks in advance for all your help.

      Hello, we sell them at our shop and provide free lessons here. Or, it can be shipped to most addresses. We have new and used machines, starting at $200. We sell a new machine like the one in this video for $439 plus shipping.

    Sory, LK 150?

  • @daisyboyer2393

    Hello I have a machine LK150 and the trolley intarsia carriage AG11 has every I lose meshes I do not understand and for the color change with the trolley intarsia carriage I happen not I always lose my mesh can you m explain how to position the needles s Thank you

    • @carolescountryknits
      @carolescountryknits  7 лет назад

      If you position the needles as shown in the video, it should work properly and not drop anything. If you are losing stitches the machine may require a new sponge. The AG11 Intarsia Carriage works best with a new firm sponge under the needles.

    Why can't you do with with the regular carriage?

    • @carolescountryknits
      @carolescountryknits  7 лет назад +1

      Hello, the regular carriage is always threaded and it is not possible to stop mid-way across and rethread the carriage with a different color. The Intarsia Carriage selects the needles into the appropriate position for ease in laying differently colored yarns wherever you please. The regular carriage will knock stitches off the needles if it is used without thread. The Intarsia Carriage won't do that. Happy knitting!

    Where do I find charts or how do I make them.

    • @carolescountryknits
      @carolescountryknits  7 лет назад +1

      We often use charts from handknitting books. Or, use a piece of graph paper and draw your own chart. A high school student at our shop used graph paper from her algebra class to draw a picture of a character from Harry Potter and used that graph to select the needles to knit.

    Hello thank you for answer me I would like to make a cover several square but in different color possble to you to make a video please

    • @carolescountryknits
      @carolescountryknits  7 лет назад

      We will be making more videos in a few weeks and will try to make your suggestion.
      Several squares would be easy to do, prepare bobbins with the different colors and do the squares all across the machine. Try 15 needles with each color. It will look like a patchwork quilt.

    Good evening I do not understand how to cross the wires can you help me please thank you

    • @carolescountryknits
      @carolescountryknits  7 лет назад

      Hi there, if you are asking about crossing the yarn in the middle of the Intarsia, it may help to expand the view of the video to fullscreen or larger so you can see it better. You can see it well at 4:41.
