I live in the poorest, reddest state in America and I feel absolutely alone. I have no one to talk with, scream and cry with. Except my daughter and she managed to not become obsessed with it like I had become after Biden dropped out. I would almost have a panic attack if I wasn’t home in time for the World news. I kept hoping I would hear breaking news that trump had choked to death on a Big Mac or something. Then the day after the election when it finally sank in, we cried and I could tell it was starting to sink in why I had been so obsessed. She’s gay but single so I don’t think she will have it as tough as some in the LGBTQ+ community. But after a couple of days she told me I needed to pull myself together because it’s affecting my mental health. She has no idea how unqualified these people are he’s choosing for top positions and doesn’t want to. So I have no one to physically talk to. I rely on these podcasts like the Bulwark and MidasTouch and Legal AF because that is where I can find like minded people who share my thoughts and feelings and opinions. I don’t know what I would do if I didn’t have these podcasts so yeah Tim, you can’t leave.😊💙
Hey Robyn, I say this to help you. Go live your life and stop listening to any of these podcasts. You ultimately have no control over these political outcomes, and then, to deal with that anxiety, you listen to others discuss it, which perpetuates the problem. It isn't worth your time when life is so fleeting.
Turn off the computer /TV….go for a walk. Don’t listen to the fear mongering on either side. It’s going to be fine! Read a good book or make some cookies. I live in the poorest, reddest state in America and I feel absolutely alone. I have no one to talk with, scream and cry with. Except my daughter and she managed to not become obsessed with it like I had become after Biden dropped out. I would almost have a panic attack if I wasn’t home in time for the World news. I kept hoping I would hear breaking news that trump had choked to death on a Big Mac or something. Then the day after the election when it finally sank in, we cried and I could tell it was starting to sink in why I had been so obsessed. She’s gay but single so I don’t think she will have it as tough as some in the LGBTQ+ community. But after a couple of days she told me I needed to pull myself together because it’s affecting my mental health. She has no idea how unqualified these people are he’s choosing for top positions and doesn’t want to. So I have no one to physically talk to. I rely on these podcasts like the Bulwark and MidasTouch and Legal AF because that is where I can find like minded people who share my thoughts and feelings and opinions. I don’t know what I would do if I didn’t have these podcasts so yeah Tim, you can’t leave.😊💙

Go live your life and stop listening to any of these podcasts. You ultimately have no control over these political outcomes, and then, to deal with that anxiety, you listen to others discuss it, which perpetuates the problem.
It isn't worth your time when life is so fleeting.
Turn off the computer /TV….go for a walk. Don’t listen to the fear mongering on either side. It’s going to be fine! Read a good book or make some cookies. I found myself getting caught up in the rhetoric a few months ago. Took a break to refocus on what’s really important. Now I listen to podcasts and think…yeah, maybe🤷🏼♀️ 💕

I remember that also. I was born in 55’. I remember a friend of mine whose sister had polio. She was disabled by it. We did March of dimes, etc. I remember our family of 7 stood in line with many many others to get our polio vaccine. My mom was so relieved. You could see in the parents faces.

Why is no one talking about the mail-in ballot vote?!?!?!? The returned ballot rate is down 11-13% compared to 2016 and 2020! 7.5-9 million votes seemingly unaccounted for. The problem is the return rate. Only 58% mail in ballots returend in 2024 compared to 69% and 71% in 2016 and 2020!! The Delta is jaw dropping!
