This diorama is very realistic , the work to do al this motion of the Stalingrad scenario is amazing , I like how you've paint the figures and weathering the Halftruck .👏👏👏🥇🏆
This is excellent, a thousand times better than anything I could even attempt. That said, this is not a criticism, but just an observation. The German soldiers in Stalingrad had been through an entire summer of hard campaigning just to get to Stalingrad. If you look at pictures from that time, their uniforms look like it; dirty, and worn. The figures in this diorama, which caught my attention almost immediately, have uniforms that look a little too clean and tidy, and they are carrying more personal equipment than would be normally carried when going into a firefight.
Love this mate only just seen it. Great all action dio! Lots of excellent details to keep the eye busy. I used a lot of the same figures and kits on my Stalingrad dio
Thank you very much, is good you like it, and you are the first person to notice about Verlinden’s style and of course I’m a great admirer of him, thanks again!
Hey, to paint in the style of a great modeler like Francois Verlinden is a compliment well deserved. I love his style of painting....vibrant colors and clean detail brush work. Happy modeling my friend. Bill
Thanks Bill, for all your kind words and appreciation is an honor to me to have at least a little bit of talent like the master modeler Francois Verlinden, thanks again!
Gracias Toni, estoy reciclando viejos modelos como este que termine hace como 15 anos al igual que las figuras, lo unico nuevo es el diorama, espero pronto mostrar lo nuevo, gracias de nuevo amigo!
Très beau travail mon ami magnifique diorama félicitations je suis abonné 👍 Very good work my friend Magnificent diorama Congratulations I am subscribed of France 👍 Es un placer para los ojos me amigo 👍🇫🇷🇪🇸😂
Love your vehicle modelling and the diorama. Its just my usual problem with taking away all your great skills with poor faces. You will not see eyeballs in scale from any distances unless up real close, a famous model builder used to describe all his eyes as the "Clint Eastwood Squint" Anything in 1:35 scale I personally believe you should just find a simpler technique, I use a oil paint wash which settles into the creases and leaves a bit of residual colour. Just a suggestion.
