Great job! Especially with those ancient Tamiya figures (although a couple have new heads I think). The Sdkfz 251 has been backdated to an A instead of a C. At first I thought you used Zvesda's 251/3B but then I noticed that the nose plate is still the C and it has the Tamiya water barrel in it, which was only in the 251/8. So that's an incredible job of redoing an ancient kit, especially since modern more accurate kits are available. The only real nitpick is the MG42 in the 251/3. It wasn't available until 1942 and Guderian was relieved of command in Dec. 1941. Overall though, an excellent diorama with truly great figure painting.
Hey fantastic Diorama 👍just a couple of questions. It is 1/35? Who's the manufacturer of the 251and 223? And year of the kit? If its on the box. Are the figures from Tamiya and Italeri and some icm? Thanks any help. Again fantastic Diorama 👏
No, is TAMIYA 251/1 with a lot of scrachtbuilt to convert in 251/3, the antena and the radios are from the Greif also TAMIYA, enigma machine is totally made from scracht
Bonjour, joli diorama. Cordialement.
I never been in continental Europe, I googled were the France invasion start and looks like it was across the Belgium border and i researched the kind of housing they exist in there and it shows a lot of pictures with houses like that one, and I’m not trying to represent history, is just a hobby that I try to do with respect to all the countries involved, thank you very much for the comment!
Came across this in my recommended, glad it was too, very nicely done my friend, the details on the scratch built is top notch, like and sub from me 👍 Thanks for sharing it with us
Thanks Austin, I use the old technique of utilizing your base color and add black for your shadows and withe for the lights painting less area with every shade!
Thanks,I’m glad you like it, I use Vallejo acrylics and oils, basically brown, red, black and skin tone with those colors I do my wet palet with different shades just adding and mixing the colors.
Love the Half track great painting and weathering. The Very Green clean and shiny helmets are to me not realistic. The prob with trying to paint eyes in smaller scales is that they completely detract from your other great uniform painting. To be in scale I usually dont paint eyes as dots as in reality you wouldnt be able to see their eyeballs from more than about 2 metres, find another trick? Oh and that window shutter just hanging on the outside wall?? whats it hanging on and why is it just hanging there?? Love your work .
Thank you very much for taking the time to watch the details on the video, I always try to paint eyes on my figures, I understand they are not perfect but I enjoy doing it maybe you need to try it!
Fantastic work. One small comment. This is no fault of yours, but the front hand guard on the MG42 does not look the right shape. I was lucky enough to own a real MG42 once, and the shape of the one on the half track jumped right out at me. Maybe replace it with another brand. Again, great work. You should be very proud.
Great job overall but fire extinguisher should not be red as well as SS plates on the scout car and Guderian crew would be wearing black side caps, not field grey
@@Cadete--tg9ni What I really meant to say was: Considering the phantastic work you did, it's a bit of a pity that the miniature doesn't even remotely resemble Guderian. Sorry for wording my comment way too negatively.

Too bad the miniature doesn't even remotely resemble Guderian.
