I think players need to understand the hierarchy in a football club …. If a player begins to believe he is bigger than the club or his manager , then the structure of an organisation doesn’t work …. Then an employee has to be weeded out ( don’t forget a player is an employee ). Auba , Ozil didn’t get that . If a player is performing well , getting his goals , making an effort then I’m sure Mikel would have put up with him ….. when a player thinks his celebrity hood needs special treatment , then time to move on …. I’ve never seen Messi , or Zidane being anything but top professionals . Mikel did offer him a top contract months ago …. And what did he do with the privilege ?? Rest my case ! 😮

More likely to see that from MLS. Calafiori drifts in as a spare man like White on the right depending on available personnel. Petit merely covered at left back to get minutes in a way Camavinga does now, but it was never their preference. Going to have to repurpose a left back sooner or later if they're the only fit players left.

Arteta will never buy a out and out striker again so forget big names like Gyokeres and Isak who can be bought and are a proper strikers. The only one lethal striker we had (auba) was used on the wings and Nketiah was sold as well under Arteta Reign. He is more likely to buy another versatile Forward player and play on the wings too. This was the same when he was under Pep. Might be best for us to focus our hopes and interest on players like 'Lookman' for example who fits Arteta's style of football.
