Its dancing synth notes play like a neon fountain, and backing keys provide a warm protection, rising and falling with an unassuming but all encircling grace: this session, with passing glances towards Three Drives and CRW, leaves headphones fizzing and arenas energised. I really liiked it, but to be honest, the original has this perfect combination of obstinate, roborhythmic power and smooth emotional humility. Of course it could be personal, I realize that fully, yet this new mix misses that stabby power. I dig it but with a different, more liquid and ambient vibe.
