as a philosophy major, I was so hyped to hear Alex Carp use ontology. I was less hype to hear other people didn't understand what ontology meant. I was more hype to see the Price drop and giving me a better buying opportunity while the market tried to understand what Alex was talking about!
Hi. This seems like a useful platform. I am trying to integrate publicly available ontologies like the Getty Vocabulary Program ontology or the PubChemRDF project. I have not been able to find a low code solution that allows me to easily take advantage of the relationships found in RDF-formatted data. My goal is to enrich product data. Any tips on how to do that?
Using the word ontology is REALLY annoying in your training, as a beginner it is an obstacle to learning. It's an obscure word which is repeated Ad nauseam in your training without reference back to its meaning. Literally every minute it's ontology this and ontology that until you're screaming at the video "WHAT DOES F-ING ONTOLOGY MEAN?!". Just say data, datasets, the relationship between two discrete data sources. Use any crystal clear wording, ANYTHING, but for the love of god shut up about the ontology!
How can these guys make something Google can't? I get they have key contracts here and there like with the govt. What's the moat that ensures this doesn't shift elsewhere? What's justifying the exploding share count?
