  • Paddleboard Places takes you to Apopka, FL to King's Landing--a natural spring. Allison and John show you where to park, launch, and paddle for a great time. King's Landing has 2 very different runs: Emerald Cut and Shuttle Run. Emerald Cut is a 3/4 mile adventure in beautiful, clear water from a fresh spring that twists and turns around gorgeous scenery. You'll see lots of fish and birds and you'll love the ride. Shuttle Run is an 8.5 mile trip in a totally different setting--among lily pads and with darker water. It also includes pick up service at the end of the ride.
King's Landing has kayak, canoe, and paddle board rentals--or you can bring your own. They also offer guided tours.
John's goal was to see an alligator. He looked everywhere. At the very end of the day, after paddling the Emerald Cut and part of the Shuttle Run, they went back to Emerald Cut and saw a small 3 foot alligator! It was exciting!
You'll love King's Landing for a great paddle trip in a kayak, canoe, or paddle board. This place rocks!

Awesome video. Very soothing to watch and the narration was right on point. Not too much or too little talking.

The odds of an alligator attack are so small.

The alligator wanted nothing to do with us. We're not experts, but we heard that they usually only come after you if they feel threatened.
