  • TEDxBermuda 04/23/2011 - Dr. Neil Burnie shows the beautiful side of one of the most terrifying creatures in the ocean. Abandoning the steel cage, the Bermuda Shark Project swims freely with the sharks and tags them with GPS tracking units to discover some surprising facts about their migration patterns.

Very, very sad news. RIP Dr. Neil Burnie died today in a Marine Accident/free-diving off Horseshoe Bay - 1954 to Remembrance Day - 11-11-2014.

Great vid. Will share. I've been involved with promoting the conservation of sharks for many years (I'm sure all my facebook friends know) so this really brings it home.
