Hey everybody,
Sometimes printing on regular transfer paper doesn't give us the POP of color we need for our projects. Not like sublimation does. So for today's video, I will be showing you how to sublimate on Siser Easy Subli Vinyl using an Epson 7720 to get that POP of color like we like it.

Thank U!!! You were the first to describe all the small details, especially when it came to the htv and then the mask. Thank you!!
Yours is the first video I've found after searching (forever it seems like), that actually helped me. Thank you
I just found you and you explain every detail and I love it
Thank you so much for the video!! I tried to watch others but they were harder to follow along; and yours was easy to follow along and you did so well explaining! Will be trying out easy subli soon so hopefully my first time will be as successful as yours. 😊
You are the best! Very detailed! Thanks so much! This has been a struggle for me for some reason
thank you so much, for such a complete step by step video.
My favorite part " a transfer sheet and sublimation had a baby" . Best description ever
lol
What program are you using to print your sublimation.
Thank you soooo much for this video it definitely helped me do a successful practice run before putting them on my shirts
Thank you, so informative! Got some of this yesterday and testing soon, thank you from the UK!
Loved the video, I have looked at like 20 different videos an this one is like finding the golden egg. Just two questions: do you need to use the mask to cover the picture before pressing? an was the mask the clear plastic paper you peeled from the back of the picture or is it a separate mask sheet I need to buy?
The mask was the clear. Its like a transfer tape, but its not that sticky. I used it with this one, but with another one I didn't use it.
Hi!! This turned out great. Did you have any problem with the easysubli getting stuck in your printer?
No. The trick I found is just putting in one sheet of the easy subli or large sublimation paper in at a time.
I’m having this problem
I’m having this issue
See this is what i been looking for. A print without a vinly cutter. I have an image thats about 13x19 i grabbed a 30 foot roll so i just cut the sizes i need
Those colors are popping!
Love it!! How did you get the images to be so big? Thank you
I used Microsoft word to make it big and just sent it to my printer.
This was a great, very informative, video. Thank
You!!
There’s 10 sheets and two different sides so which one is the correct one to use please, the pack says 5 sheets
Who had a "baby"? LoL good one
Does the masking sheets come with the vinyls or do I have to purchase that separately ?
I want to say I purchased it all together. However, some places sell it separately
Very thorough explanation
May I have a link to the mask?
I believe it came with the easy subli.
Hi, do we have to put the mask on the image to press? Or did you do it as a precaution?
No, I have used it with and without the mask and it came out fine.
Excellent excellent 👍🏻👍🏻thank you very nice tutorial....!!!!
Nice video! You had me cracking up... when you said “episode”... I was like “speak it into existence, sis!”..
:) Thank you.
Your awesome, I'm subbing to learn ♥️🙏🏽
wonderful work thank you for video thumbs up and subscribed today 👍 😀
Does this last longer on clothing than heat transfer paper from an inkjet printer?
I haven't noticed a difference
Got my ECOTANK 15000 about to set it up soon.
Great Video! Thank you !!
I can tell you love it.
YEAH.
I can tell you like it.
YEAH.
😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
Thanks for this video. So I should be able to print directly on 1 of theses sheets with my epson 7710 and then cut it with my cutter using the print registration mark system.
Haven’t tried it yet but this walkthrough is on point!
Yes, as long as your printer can fit the sheet. Now the size of your image depends on if your cutting machine can cut it, if you have a silhouette you should be ok with large images. A circuit, not so much.
@@CraftingMadeEasy thank you. it should fit perfectly then, i'll try the matte paper settings. were you ever able to cut with registration marks on 1 of these sheets? I've never gotten registration to work but i've only tried with normal sub paper/sublimation ink.
@@The11thPower I haven't used any registration marks. All the prints I have done are larger than what my Cricut cuts. I just had to cut an image out by hand. You may not need the registration marks unless you are matching it up with another image.
You did great.. I love using easy subli, Where did you purchase the image?
Thank you. Someone sent it to me to put on the sweatshirt.
the image I plan to use is a logo.
it would be easier if it were a square like your image - but it's not - so I need to print it out on letter size. I have a 7720 converted to sublimation, but since I only have a cricut machine and not a silhouette - I'll have to stick with the size that can add the registration marks? or do you have another suggestion? if I were to do this in 2 steps and make a 'platform' of easy subli (much like if I were using siser white glitter which I also have never tried) and then use sublimation paper and cut that on my cricut - would that be an easier way to do this? are those temperatures higher than this?
my concern in that I've heard so many say that the image comes out smeared from the printer. Should I print it (bleed off?) and then just let it dry before cutting it on my cricut? air dry for minimum 2 hours to help with the cut? not sure what setting to put it on to cut?
one more question (sorry for all the questions) but I recently bought a TUSY heat press 15 x 15 from Amazon but have not used it. what pressure do I set it on and how do I do that? for either process (2 step or 1 step).
thank you for the very detailed video. I think once I get answers to these questions or concerns I should be good to go. ( I hit 'like' and also subscribed)
If your image is really detailed you may be better buying transfers from a company. If its not and just a square, you can cut it out with scissors. Now I have seen videos where people cut the easy subli to the size of there image with their cutting machine, and then lay sublimation paper on top of it. So cut the blank easy subli, then on regular sub paper your image, line it up with the blank easy subli.
I just place my image after I print it, on the heat press with the top open for about 20 minutes. I haven't had any issues with smearing. And I always take my bleed off.
You twist the knob on the top. It will be medium pressure.
Will the easy subli work with any sublimation printer? I have an epson with Hippo sublimation ink and also will this work any type of shirt? ❤️ btw thank you for helping so much!!!
Yes it can, I have an epson.
Very easy video to follow.
Thank you so much for this video! I am so nervous because I have customer wanting me to do this
You will do fine. Just take your time
How does it hold on washes ?
Awesome video, tfs. Where did you get the mask sheets from. Thanks
They came with the sheets. Let me see where I originally got them from.
Great video and likable personality lol.👏🏽
Hello again
I just got my sheets. Can I used the sister easysubli on any color tee shirt ?
Thank you
Hello. Yes you can use them on any color shirt
@@CraftingMadeEasy thank you for your reply🙏
@@freshMila you're welcome... 😊
Thanks!
Awesome video.
What type ink do you use and do you clean your nozzle head every time you print?
Thank you. I purchased some ink from ebay or amazon, it didn't have a name. I will see if I can find the link. I recently purchased cosmo ink.
I only clean if I haven't used it in awhile.
Do you have to use the mask every time or can you just use butcher paper? Ps, this video was very helpful!
I used the mask once and once without and didn't have any issues. Just make sure you put something on top of it, so it does not bleed onto your heat press.
What program do you use to size the image?
Microsoft word
Ummmmmm. Let’s go Brandon?
Terrible President & Vice President 👎🏿🦨
I have the same printer and my image was smeared coming out of the printer. Not sure what went wrong :( do you mind sharing what sublimation ink you use?
I think I purchased it from either eBay or amazon, I'll check and let you know
Does it feel like it would crack like Iinkjet printable HTV does?
No it doesn't.
What app are you using
I use Cricut Design Space, but for this I used Microsoft word
Hello
Definitely I can use Epson printer with sublimation ink correct. Looking forward to hear from you.
Thank you
Correct.
Thank you for your reply I really appreciate. You the best
Where did you get the Mask from
It came with the subli sheets. Try looking on 143 vinyl or brilliant vinyl for some.
Thank you
I have the 7720. Which side of vinyl should I be printing on?
Would i be able to cut out a shape and then press the sublimation design after the vinyl is on a shirt ?
what software is that your using for images plz?
I just used Microsoft word
HOW DID YOU GET THE WHITE TEXTS TO SUBLIMATE ON THE SHIRT?
It is apart of the picture. It sublimated on the Easy Subli.
@@CraftingMadeEasy OK. Thank you for your response.
What’s the washing instructions like? Does it peel at all?
Wash inside out. I haven't noticed any peeling.
How do I keep the printer from jamming 😭😭 I have a 7720 and can't get it to work. I'm doing it one sheet at a time
Are you using the bottom tray?
@@CraftingMadeEasy is there a certain tray u use for certain things. I need more videos. U are the Goat...
@@LadyDimePiece4Eva For my bigger prints I use the bottom tray. It can handle larger prints
I have the 7720 also. I believe its the shine the wheel can't grab..I was having same problem.I put 2 strips of masking tape down middle of paper it grabbed and had no problem since.hope this helps
@@daniellehamill Thank you for your comment!!! After a couple days not getting this to feed properly, your comment made us successful!!!!
How did it do after washing
I gave it away so I do not know. I have something with a piece on it, I will wash and let you know.
@@CraftingMadeEasy any news after washing?
@@leoanthonybasa6558 It held up. you have to wash it inside out.
Can you cut the subli vinyl to fit in a Epson et 4700 and will it work in it
You should be able to cut it down to size
Thumbs down for the design!
Gas ⛽️ prices $5.35 gal, thanks #46, where’s Hunter’s laptop 💻
My ink didn't dry sitting under the heat press for 60 seconds. Could that be because it was on 325?
Yeah, I had mine set to 400 degrees to dry.
@@CraftingMadeEasy thank you. I didn’t see that part. Google took me right at almost 13 minutes into the video.
What ink u use in your sub printer
Do you get ink streaks or marks when printing on easysubli with your epson ??
I haven't had any streaks. But sometimes I get random marks on the blank spaces. I usually cut the empty parts off, when I am subbing on shirts to avoid any random spots on my shirts.
Do you clean your nozzle heads before you print each time ?
Thank u so much. I wasted ink printing on the wrong side. (Smh) Before watching video
I just did the print on easy subli. I printed out the design on easy subli - then placed one over the other. I tried it at the lower temp and the colors didnt come thru, so now I"m trying to redo my color profiles in my Epson 7720 and so far not having any luck. it won't save them.
The color of the green was way off (IMHO) so attempting to redo. waiting on a response. so far nothing. the green way more of a teal, than a dark green.
I guess I'm tempted to just waste a sheet of easy subli and print directly? but afraid the colors still won't be right. I printed a color sheet using my Epson parameters and if I could come up with THAT green I'd be fine. but it's more of a teal.
thanks for getting back to me. It's for my grandson's place of work, so I really want it to at least have the right colors. LOO
Don't waste the subli, use regular printer paper to test your colors. If you want to see how they come out, sub it on a microfiber cloth. You can buy them from the dollar tree.
I started out buying 5 easy subli sheets. Messed up 3 of them before I discovered I was printing on the wrong side of the paper.
OH NO :(.
I just messed up one and then barely touched it and smeared on the print it looks easy but not really
how does it wash?
It washes well. Turn the fabric inside out.
How do you insert the subli in the printer
Shinny side up or down? I have the same question and printer.
This t-shirt design is not aging well
Lost me at the sample image!
