Cheers mate, the Irish part is a secondary national road hence the quietness. Very strange to drive on though. Re the border it makes you wonder what the A1/N1 to the east would have been like when it had one especially at that was single carriageway back then too
Thank you very much, yeah it’s interesting and a very strange bit of road to drive along. I did do N54/A3 later on that day, to add to the confusion there N12 towards Armagh from Monaghan also forms part of the route too!
