I bought this short one facial interface last week but the biggest gripe I have with Quest 3 is definitely the nose gap, but props to Apex for giving me a detachable option. Overall, it's not bad.😁
yes, the nose spacer is the biggest issue with that facial interface, but I am honest, I have the bobovr S3 and the "not wide" one fit like a glove, I found it very comfortable and no light bleeding. For the nose if you move the spacer to the second level you already have more space, but some like will bleed through
I use a combination of the stock interface with a silicone cover on top to block out sweat and on top of that I use the cloths VR Cover. Until now the only solution to block out every light leakage on my very narrow head shape. Also I can easily swap out and wash the VC Covers while the silicone prevents any smudge getting into the stock facial interface.

I'm always looking for a new facial interface for the Quest 3, but the ones I've been looking at, seem to be jaggy around the nose where the edges are. I'm really glad they are bringing some options to the table so I can find something new.
I have the apex inno and do not have any issues with halo strap. As far as the nose, the pad does pinch it. To combat that, move the bottom of the pad lower on the Velcro this will make the nose section wider. I have no issues with the apex inno, and think it's a great replacement for the stock interface for the cost
I'm still rocking the vanilla interface. I want to use a cloth type interface (I used the AMVR one for Quest 2) but they all seem to be silicone. The vanilla interface IS cloth, but it's kind of thin and scratchy.
Great review! How is the depth? I've been looking for a facial interface that gives more comfort and more Field of View due to being closer to the eyes. So far I haven't found anything that isn't custom made. Please advise.
I want a facial interface integrated in the halo strap so badly! All in one, nice, robust and streamlined, with the tightening knobs each side and a very thin pad at the back of the head
Nobody ever talks about the Frankenquest (HTC Vive Deluxe Audio Strap with adapters), but it has great comfort and comes with decent headphones. I use it with the AMVR facial interface. I have also replaced the padding that goes above your head, but this is not necessary.
I really just want something that gives a higher FOV. I play without a facial interface and a halo strap to get as close as possible but the light bleed is a problem.
I have tried many facial interfaces. All of them got returned cuz it is no good lol. You mentioned custom Oblik interface. I did looked it up before and it is very expensive. I wanted to hold it until last resort, so this is last resort anyway. I will order it anyway lol
Is there a quest 3 facial interface that does not have glasses adjustment? I am hoping to get one with less moving parts and hopefully a larger field of view. I have tried to search for one but I only find the standard ones. I am using a halo type strap.
@@andrejh8132 I am aware that no glasses mode exists on all quest 3 facial interfaces but I was asking if there are any without adjustment to cut down on price and moving parts that may break. You can buy prescription lenses now so glasses mode is not strictly needed.
6:18 I just got that fan interface and about the mechanism, I immediately broke the lower right side slider by pushing the bottom to secure it in place (also the padding is sticky and the fan makes my eyes dry instantly no matter the direction/intensity), I thought it's as robust as the Quest's own interface. I'm really liking the stock interface for this reason alone (never breaks for its good design) and may get its silicon variant in the future, or just continue with silicon cover on the stock interface.
I was using the stock interface up until recently, it did the job until something else came out I wanted to get. I did pick up the AMVR interface (But from the cheaper company) and I've used it twice so far. I'll be putting together a review on it as well but with the Elite Style Strap it definitely blocks out light so well I almost miss the gab between my nose and the stock interface. Lol. But I'm thinking about picking up the Apex Inno Wide now to see how that feels.
@@Eagledocstew The problem with the Oblik is the price and the scans, I don't have an Apple so until they can scan with other phones I can't get one, or until I can afford it.
You can try to borrow an i 0:04 Phone, others have done that (I believe Jay did also). The Oblik does cost more but you will get a custom fit-well worth the extra money you pay
@@Eagledocstew I was thinking about it for sure, but it will still be a while there are a few things I need to get before I can save up for the Oblik. New Mic because my is starting to go, Elgato Capture Card x HDMi Splitter so I can cast my quest 3 to ChromeCast and record standalone on my computers, Kobra Gunstock, then I'll be able to work on the Oblik. I have a few reviews coming. Lmao.
right so what would you recommend for no light bleed s3 pro halo ? I have amvr and light bleed is truly annoying, even though that silk ice thingy feels nice and prefer it over faux leather it does still bleed light a lot
I have the quest 1 which I still really like but don’t play super often due to it being uncomfortable/front heavy after a while as well as it not being very sharp so makes me feel nauseous after a while. I’m debating on whether to buy the quest 3 with the bobo s3 pro strap. Do you think for the price, it’s a worthy upgrade? I’ll be using it stand alone as well as plugging into pc to use with games like Flight Simulator 2020?
I have tried a few facial interfaces and ended up removing them completely (use a darkened room). For my flight simulator this is perfect with also a excellent FOV and just feels like just a baseball cap on my head.
I can’t wear the facial interface that came with the Q3. It’s too wide and the padding irritates my skin. Im waiting for VR Cover. I’m rocking it W/Oba facial interface and im not sure I can go back to a facial interface.
It’s starting to smell like 3DTV and I’m a bit worried because we have seen this trend before. We have access to a lot of quality hardware and accessories, but with a small amount of content. I hope this is just a calm before a flood of new titles. I just want this channel to keep going.😃
the custom one sounds nice but dont have access to any i devices. I need to do something tough that stock interface is pain and while it doesnt irritate my skin as bad as the quest 2 it still does. I was hoping for another VRCover one but that isnt looking like it will happen. I need something I cant do this anymore. I find I dont use my VR as much because its painful.
Is the AMVR still one of the best facial interfaces for the quest 3? I want to start working out with my quest 3, and i want to get the best facial interface for that activity!
My AMVR facial interface works well, and I use it with the BoboVR S3 Pro with no issues. The AMVR and S3 fit very close at the top but don't collide. On a side note, Amazon says my 2 BoboVR B100 batteries arrive in 4 days. The Oblik is not just expensive, but for iPhone users.
Even the Oblik is a lot better than AMVR? I'm thinking about getting the very expensive one omg. So there is no problem with with comfort? Is the fan in the S3 Pro blow through the vent of the interface?
Bobo has one coming this quarter but for now I'm loving an Oblik custom (although that's very expensive). The stock one with a silicone cover is a decent half measure until something better comes along. A lot of the ones so far have been disappointing to me personally
@@jaybratt thank you so much for that. I want the best possible experience and I’m so excited to be getting my bobovr in the mail. Awesome channel thank you for all your hard work and amazing content. Keep it up man!

I want the back to be the thinnest as possible just like the original(no battery, of course) and I'd prefer not having the hinge every other strap seems to have either. I can't believe nobody has made a clone of the incredibly expensive original strap. I want the strap to be the bare minimum and I liked the Quest 2 version I had back in the days.
I have the AMVR interface, I love it but as we’re aware it doesn’t work that great with the bobovr s3 strap. I was considering maybe getting a smaller interface but think I might be able to settle with just a silicone cover over the stock interface?

Custom facial interfaces are insanely good. One of the beyonds best features😊

Move the bottom of the pad lower on the Velcro. I have a wide nose and had to do this with most pads. It allows for more space near the nose.
I like those APEXINNO facial interface
I'm still using the stock interface, which is soft, wide, and comfortable on my face, but each to their own comfort level.
FOV is too bad for me. This was the main reason, but AMVR is the best for me in terms of both.
