Bro I love this version!!! She does such a good job of showing how pissed Eliza is and I love how she does all that while still keeping a bit of the (for lack of a better term) silliness of the original song. When she sings “oooo Henry Higgins” I get chills. It’s so bone chilling. She is amazing!!
To all the ppl who said she was bad Audrey Hepburn did the same in the movie because this scene was supposed to be excessive and her accent in the beginning of the movie is cockney accent so it makes it more so. Also welcome to musical theater there’s a reason it’s not for everyone it’s supposed to be dramatic. And she was supposed to be feeling angry and vengeful towards him and think about this maybe just maybe it feels forced bc her character is finally getting her pent up aggression on that character out and just keeps going until the song is over
Great performance , great song . Any comment of overdoing it , shows a lack of understanding . Liza is basically pissed off and this song expresses it .
Just you wait, Henry Higgins, just you wait You'll be sorry but your tears will be too late You'll be broke and I'll have money Will I help you, don't be funny Just you wait, Henry Higgins, just you wait Just you wait, Henry Higgins 'till you're sick And you screams to fetch a doctor double quick I'll be off a second later And go straight to the theater Oh oh oh, Henry Higgins, just you wait Ooh, Henry Higgins Just you wait until we're swimming in the sea Ooh, Henry Higgins And you get a cramp a little way from me When you yell you're going to drown I'll get dressed and go to town Oh oh oh, Henry Higgins, oh oh oh, Henry Higgins Just you wait One day I'll be famous, I'll be proper and prim Go to St. James so often I shall call it St. Jim One evening the King will say Eliza, old thing I want all of England your praises to sing Next week on the 20th of May I proclaim Eliza Doolittle Day All the people will celebrate the glory of you And whatever you wish and want I gladly will do Thanks a lot, King, says I, in a manner well bred But all I want is Henry Higgins' Head Done, says the king with stroke Guard, run and bring in the bloke Then they'll march you, Henry Higgins, to the wall And the king will tell Eliza, sound the call As they lift their rifles higher I'll shout ready, aim, fire Oh oh oh, Henry Higgins Down you'll go, Henry Higgins Just you wait
Oooh she is good!! She is really good.. Sublime technique, wonderful singing voice, and enormous dramatic expression.. The only possibly negative thing I have about her performance is (perhaps) that her approach for Eliza has seemingly a speck of evil, in which case it'll be an utter mistake, because Eliza Doolittle is every thing but evil, she is genuinely a benevolent human being.. All her maddened state here should be innocent and free of the slightest amount of malice.. But this is not a verdict against this performance, because I should see the entirety of her version of Eliza to form a thorough opinion about it, it could be volitional or part of some plan she had for the role!! this is merely an initial impression.. But truly, she is great in the original sense of the word
"Czekaj no, Higgińszczaku, czekaj no, Jeszcze łaski będziesz skamleć, a ja - o! Będziesz w nędzy, ja forsiasta, Czy ci dam coś? nic i basta! O ho, ho, Higgińszczaku czekaj no! Czekaj no, Higgińszczaku, czekaj no, Jak nawali ci wątroba albo co! Ty z kompresem na wątrobie, A ja w miasto pójdę sobie, O ho, ho, Higgińszczaku, czekaj no! Och, Higgińszczaku, proszę Cię, znów mnie skrzycz, wyłajaj i zburcz, Och, Higgińszczaku, Potem kąp się w wannie aż cię złapie skurcz! I w tej wannie top się, top, A ja w miasto, a ja - hop! O ho, ho, Higińszczaku, Czekaj no, Higgińszczaku, czekaj no! Chcesz - rzecze król - to ją masz, Niech tylko schwyta go moja straż. I powiodą, Higgińszczaku, cię pod mur, Przyjdę ja i król się zjawi i cały dwór, A gdy nóż zabłyśnie, stal, Ja krzyknę: ognia, cel, pal! O ho, ho, Higgińszczaku, Czekaj no, Higgińszczaku, o ho, ho, Higgińszczaku, czekaj no!" Przekład: Janusz Minkiewicz

She is fabulous! Fantastic! Bravo!
Agree

This is literally amazing. If only other people used this much emotion in other shows. What else was she in?
she is amazing!
Loved this!! Extremely talented 👍🏻
Brilliant. Really loved it.
What’s wrong with you guys? I think she’s spectacular!
So true
Great performance , great song .
Any comment of overdoing it , shows a lack of understanding .
Liza is basically pissed off and this song expresses it .
THANK YOU
I would love to sing this musical, on of my biggest dreams ever
Terrific!
She's fantastic. Who's the actress?
Aurora Florence.
Y’all have to realize the character is supposed to be a little nuts. She’s doing fine in my opinion.
Just you wait, Henry Higgins, just you wait
You'll be sorry but your tears will be too late
You'll be broke and I'll have money
Will I help you, don't be funny
Just you wait, Henry Higgins, just you wait
Just you wait, Henry Higgins 'till you're sick
And you screams to fetch a doctor double quick
I'll be off a second later
And go straight to the theater
Oh oh oh, Henry Higgins, just you wait
Ooh, Henry Higgins
Just you wait until we're swimming in the sea
Ooh, Henry Higgins
And you get a cramp a little way from me
When you yell you're going to drown
I'll get dressed and go to town
Oh oh oh, Henry Higgins, oh oh oh, Henry Higgins
Just you wait
One day I'll be famous, I'll be proper and prim
Go to St. James so often I shall call it St. Jim
One evening the King will say Eliza, old thing
I want all of England your praises to sing
Next week on the 20th of May
I proclaim Eliza Doolittle Day
All the people will celebrate the glory of you
And whatever you wish and want I gladly will do
Thanks a lot, King, says I, in a manner well bred
But all I want is Henry Higgins' Head
Done, says the king with stroke
Guard, run and bring in the bloke
Then they'll march you, Henry Higgins, to the wall
And the king will tell Eliza, sound the call
As they lift their rifles higher
I'll shout ready, aim, fire
Oh oh oh, Henry Higgins
Down you'll go, Henry Higgins
Just you wait
I like her take on thiss

she is a great singer, but i feel like the emotion is a bit forced... and it lacks some passion
'Just you white Henry Higgins, just you white
You'll be sorry but your tears will be to light'
This is probably the best song for Eliza to show up
Is that a microphone on top of her head?
Aaah, I see. Thank you for the information :)

She’s really good I wish I could see the whole thing with Anna oh no or her
This was a Broadway production?
Beautiful ❤️ voice beautiful ❤️ performance***** bravooooooo**** utube john bavas cabaret
I think I’ve been watching too much True Crime... this actually sounds a little crazy.
My fair lady songs
Was this from like a benefit or award show or did they do a modem remake of the movie
It's a broadway musical
Kind of reminds me of Bette Davis in whatever happened to baby Jane!
Sorry,I’m off to play Julie Andrews singing this ; the original and the best.
This looks like a video audition to get into the drama program of a mediocre college.
Overacted. On the verge of hysteria.
In the school play my friend played her and she did way better
she is bad
lol like you could do better
Nonsense. She did an excellent job.
@@davegaetano7171 Agree. Excellent
you do it then
