She is so pretty :-)
Facts
Venus has so many heartbreaking losses, especially at the Open!
i agree but again she has already solified her legacy and name as a tennis legend that i’m appreciating even her still playing regardless
… and many wins!!
this is freaking AMAZING. thank you US Open channel for doing all these videos. good stuff. wish all other grand slams would do the same.
In terms of quality opponents, one of the most impressive runs to a title in history. 6/7 former, current or future top 10 opponents (Sevastova career high No. 11). 2/7 have reached GS Semis, 3/7 have reached Finals, and 2/7 are Champs. And Sloane was at the moment ranked lower than every single one of them. Awesome
Thats doesnt mean anything. Her draw was actually very easy. The highest opponent she had to face was ranked 9. So totally not impressive.
She had a great tournament, thats for sure. But her opponents are "good", not "great" quality. Ash was just coming back, and Venus was far from her best. All the rest were just "challenging", not "difficult" for her.
Yeah sloane just got lucky that year tbh
@@yezmirsheppard-halika6892 no one gets lucky to win 7 matches at the open consecutively
It's probably impossible to get a different draw than that on the WTA tour, since there's quite little consistency in the top players. I wonder how many top10 players the WTA had in the last 5 years.
It is so heartbreaking to see Madison crying at the net after that final :( I like Sloane and she totally deserved that title. I just hope that one day Madison will get a Major too ;)
Such a contagious smile and a perfect attitude. A true champion 🙂
I love gracious losers. So professional and beautiful.
I love these types of videos, thanksss!!
Ok I can’t watch anyone beating Venus Williams. I’ll just pretend that never happened.
It's only us who suffer really. She'll go back to a multi-million dollar mansion :)
I wish Venus would have played like this this year bummer
Nice compilation
Thank you US Open.
I love her beautiful and smart play
Stephens is a absolute babe.
Black beauty
Beauty
Not only does she have the skill but also a proper handshake. Respect.
So elaborately done up
Sloane was so cool and relaxed when she realised that she had won. 🏆
Nice
Amazing year for Sloane. Was hoping she'd be more than just a one hit wonder...
Was that young lady she hugged after Madison,in the stands her sister? And is Goerges,Mary Joe Fernandez's clone wow.
10:20 Her respect to Venüs 👏👏👏
It should be the loser who shakes first though so whats your point??
@Shinobu Tsurubushi Serena is irrelevant here. Are you blind this is Venus vs Sloane
@Shinobu Tsurubushi 'Dude' Serena isn't part of this match- so TOTALLY irrelevant. 'To allow it. She isn't obligated to do so': you clearly know nothing about tennis rules. It is supposed to be an obligation that the winner allow the loser to shake umpire's hand first so that they can get to packing their bags while the victor takes their lap of praise. To not do so is considered extremely bad form at best! Serena DOES do it actually- you need to check out the Wimbledon match with Heather Watson for just one example.
@@aaronwilkins1843 its not a rule, ppl just do it. ive seen players get confused about who shakes first. shut up
@@colonelgibbs8357 why don't u stfu?. As a member of a club I can tell u it should be the loser first. Not the end of the world of not but that is the expectation so dnt get in my face about something trivial Ur clearly misguided on.
She looks amazing when she is posing with the trophy
Damn I didn’t remember it but Sloane had a stacked draw!
Venus (seed#9) was the only top 10 seed, she had to play against. How is that a stacked draw?
@@HerrRiede Literally every opponent was a big name on the tour and had history of going deep into majors
@@nicholo1I agree, but that is probably applicable to the whole top 50 of the WTA ranking. What I want to say: the WTA tour is so unpredictable, that any draw you can get, contains some big shots.
@@HerrRiede Thank you. I agree you can get some. And what I want to say and what i did say is her entire draw was "stacked" with big shots. Have a great day !
@@HerrRiede she beat two top ten players actually
@13:15 madison with the look haha
I love how during her match against Venus, there’s almost as many Venus highlights as Stephens’.
ok...

Cette fille a un fond de jeu extraordinaire 🚿❤️👑
Venus' bun
One last question :How da heck did she make the main draw if by the end of August she was 957th????
VV Cubed wildcard bruv
She made the semi-finals of two premier 5 tournaments (Toronto & Cincinnati) and got her ranking up to 87 before the US Open. @VV Cubed
No protective ranking y’all all wrong.
Khristian Ford no she would’ve been in us open regardless do you’ll not know the rules she got injured she had a protective ranking so she would’ve played us open regardless.
@@Rayboog1 Regardless of whether or not she had a protective ranking or not she was still able to bring her current ranking up using the protective ranking system in the from competing in the other tournaments. Protective rankings only allows you to use the ranking left with to get into limited amount of tournaments to ragain your former ranking.
P.S. Were you not paying attention this was like her entire storyline since she started the U.S. series.
Is she holding the trophy the wrong way round?
I was happy Sloane won...
Venus attitude is way better than Serena’s
They are two different people so why wouldn't their attitudes be different. Serena Is the Queen and the public is jealous. They call her names and try to body shame her. Therefore Serena does have a "different" attitude than her sister. Glad your opinion don't write her pay checks. 😎
Where is serena in this video why do you haters always want to bring her name up where it's not needed
Sloane needs to get that coach back. Keys won’t ever win a slam - not mentally strong or consistent enough
It’s been nothing but downhill from there. Shows no desire, just seemingly shows up for a paycheck.
Sloane is cat
How
how did she ???she is so bad player
