I bought the same cooler for my boat this morning. Free shipping and I got the basket and divider along with the freezer pack for a little over $250. I was looking at an ORCA to go along with the 40qt ORCA I have now which I love by the way. But stumbled upon Cordova while researching everything out there. Looked at KONG, Yeti and all the others but Cordova was the best built with the best features for the best price that is made in the U.S.A.! Simply put the only thing I would like on this cooler that it doesn't have is a tethered drain plug It is great to see so many American companies building great products and bringing jobs back to this country. ORCA is made in Tennessee so I was real set on buying one from them again but Cordova IMHO is the best cooler on the market. Your real world test just gave me more piece of mind that I made the right choice. Thank you for the review!!!

Thanks for taking the time to actually load the cooler with a realistic loadout and showing how it all fits. That really helps pick a cooler size vs just seeing a few drinks and a ton of ice.

I like the eggs in the water bottle idea. Do you scramble then funnel it in?

Hell, for that much money you can buy a 12volt refrigerator.😁👍👍

I really looked around with the intentions of getting a fridge instead, but couldn't find any in this price range that didn't have me questioning the quality. If I traveled more than a couple days at a time I'd invest in a nice fridge.
      Thanks for the comment!

I thought about the fridge too. Problem is it’s not bear resistant. It doesn’t help in off the grid situations. Most don’t like getting wet so you have to try to shield the vented areas from the rain. Then you still have to turn around and buy a good cooler. So is it worth it in the long run? Eh maybe not.

The problem with a fridge is you have to have 12 volts. And that is another $500 added to an already expensive and frail system. I would love to see anyone throw a 12V fridge off the roof of a building and get it to work afterward!!!

Idaho’en here I love my Cordova as well I got 2 that I use, how ever I do wish they could fix the small things, like the plug I wish it had some little rope or chain so you don’t loose it, I think either then that one pet pi it’s a good cooler.
