+Dewu Gamer You don't need to be level 30. The game will automatically boost you up to level 30 ish if you you want to play just the dlc. Thats' one of three options you get.

So far this dlc is so much fun! This part is from the Xbox One, and I didn't feel the game performed bad at all. It's as smooth as the vanilla game I recorded a few months ago. It's less than $10 on most platforms, and I'm hearing it's around 10-15 hours. Hopefully even more with the side quests.

+death15lord Yeah, he did a series of videos on the main campaign/main game side-quests a few months back, right after it first came out.
+MKIceAndFire for some reason the patch that came after the DLC removed some of my witcher gears :( some enemies couldn't die (stupid bug), but other than that, the game worked smoothly

Never liked the way Gerald walked or ran in this game. Always looked like he had a stick up his butt. But regardless, this is a 15/10 game. GOTY for sure.

And his character movement out of combat also feels so weightless. It's quite uncomfortable when you make him walk or run, especially in a small room.
That whole cutscene where the character wasn't rendering in was so awkward. Thanks for posting this though. It's because of a channel like you that I can experience the story.

Lol I'm stuck at the fight at 47:42 and I didn't think you could just run. Makes sense though because you're a prisoner and it makes sense for you to book it. Also were's your sword on that part did it not spawn for you.

I have already finished it twice and now I started the NEW GAME+ to get myself to at least lvl 60+ on Blood and Broken Bones. Now this game is just pretty much grinding to me, but I really want to get those sweet high level gear on me before I start enjoying this new DLC, so is it worth it?

Well by simply looking up the dlc on RUclips I had the endings spoiled in titles of vids, but nonetheless it's so difficult in the first few quests to tell who's bad and who's good.
is it worth buying because when fallout 4 is out this game is gone fallout is so much better IMO but this game is good just want something to keep me alive through the last few weeks

quick question I dont have the expansion yet and i started the new game plus on Witcher and i dont even get to use my old (new gear from regular game) gear yet so if I get this expansion how would that work out? like would it let me use all my stuff or would it do something like revert my game process to before I started new game plus?

Am I the only one who thinks the Hearts of Stone story fits best after Velen but before Novigrad? Level-wise it doesn't make sense, but story-wise it feels most fitting. Most people have told me they have it take place after most of the main story, but it just feels weird to have this happen too long after first meeting Gaunter O'Dimm at White Orchard, and it also feels weird to romance Shani in the middle right after I've mostly gotten through either a Triss or Yennefer romance. It happens in and around Oxenfurt which is kind of to the side of Novigrad, so whenever I play through, I use a console cheat to temporarily level up to 30 and treat this as a sort of "detour" I have to get through on the way to Novigrad. The only exception to this is that there is a side-quest involving a cursed individual in the Blood & Wine DLC who just like Olgierd here, was cursed by Gaunter O'Dimm, but otherwise it seems more fitting to splice the HoS plot into the point that I mentioned.
Best to assume that the hos takes place on the way from vizima to valen. Everything just gits perfectly

I fucking knew you could fight him at the burning Manor! That was a sick fucking boss mechanic, I missed out on fighting him first time around because I couldn't care less what happened to that guy about to be executed. Turns out he was responsible for murdering the lord and setting his manor on fire, so I guess he got what was coming.
