LOL @4:31. Congratulations on this beautiful watch! "It has to be somewhat ugly to be interesting" this is so true with Grand Seiko...that's one of the reasons why I loved the Godzilla so much.
I bought one of these on impulse back in spring, not something I'm prone too, but it blew me away in the metal. Stunning lines - as shown so eloquently at 4.30..! As you say, it is FAR less pink than the marketing material would suggest. I very much liked your analogy with the cherry blossom in Japan - not simply 'the colour of blossom,' but the ephemera too. A wink of pink - always a pleasure - then back to demure silver.
Wonderful watch I remember the first time I saw the dial, it’s crazy you get such an incredible dial for the price, I don’t even like spring drive and I’d buy that watch just for the dial. Love case as well. Great buy!
Shunbun! I agree with you that the 62GS case is so multifaceted and interesting to look at own its own! I chose the Summer edition because of the Hi Beat and steel. All of the four seasons are gorgeous.
Congrats, gorgeous piece! You have been on a buying frenzy this year 😂By the way, you should do an updated video on dress watches, would be interesting to see what you would pick nowadays!
I can only say it's a great model, seeing that it's virtually identical to the SBGA125 we did a video on. The only differences are the texture / color of the dial, and the finishing of the second hand (flamed blue on the SBGA125). On the wrist, this wears like a dream, even if I would have liked it a bit thinner. Oh well, you can't have it all.
love it! I got it recently with a 20% from the Seiko Boutique here in hk! with the minute track printed on dial like the sbga469.... would you mind the stub at the 3o clock next to the date window though?
Great addition and a beautiful dial. I like the fact you have to search for the pink hue. I’m interested where you see it fitting in a quite substantial collection like yours. Alongside the Datejust? Cartier? Explorer? In the box with your King Seiko?👍
Aunque no le guste hay un homenaje del grand seiko el Ali express con cristal de zafiro y maquina original de seiko a un precio en el que nadie puede competir

Gorgeous piece and the 62GS case is so special! The green Summer edition SBGH271 in steel is very nice too! Enjoy👍

Excellent choice! I love my sbgm221, so beautiful and subtle and it’s amazingly accurate.
I'm also the proud owner of the GS GMT SBGM221 👌🏻. Love it

I’m in love and this is my favorite video of it.

i wish they release springdrive for this seasons in 40mm, with shorter lug to lug and 19mm bracelet
Congrats….I picked up a SBGA429 for a 39mm spring drive. It’s different than a Swiss but you need only need 1 GS.
Do you still own it? Thoughts?

It's gorgeous! If you had to pick one, this GS or Wimbledon, and keep only one, which are you choosing?
The Wimbledon is part of my watches forever collection. So I guess this answers that
@@UptickWatchReviews As my 15 year tells me, only a dope would sell a Rolex!
Saw this watch at a local AD the beginning of 2021 and was too pink for me…
You got the car comparison wrong - Grand Seikos are Nissan Skyline GTRs, no less and maybe more. They make Rolexes look like cheap toys.
