This has got to be THE BEST EVER! I laughed, I cried, my heart was warmed. Just made my life better know this is here to be watched and watched. I watched the shows when then were first broadcast in 1966-68. A friend re-introduced me to K/S by sending me links to some of the amazingly wonderful fan work that’s STILL coming out! I had no idea! It’s an amazing world when something you loved in your teens can still make you feel that way again in your late 60s. Bravo to the best fandom!

This is excellent. It could be called "Everything You Need to Know About K/S"! It reminds me of your gloriously fun vid "Smooth"--with many of the same sexy glances--but now the men have grown up. Using Joni Mitchell's later version of her song is brilliant--it has the bittersweet wisdom of age that we see Kirk & Spock come to, too. I'm upset about WMG yanking vids off youTube--are people posting them somewhere else? I love yT--don't want to leave! (I'm glad I used old stuff all along...)

Your video weaves a fluid tale, artfully constructed and beautifully timed to Joni Mitchell's lonely and languid rendition of Both Sides Now. You've made, anew, scenes worn from years of hasty compilations. I have not tried my own hand at this, so I am only critiquing as a viewer, looking to be enchanted, but too often jolted by inconsistencies. There is a lot of talent out there, thank you for sharing yours.
Oh my gosh, this is beautiful. I've actually been listening to this song all day-- Leonard Nimoy's cover of it, actually! How perfect to see your video. I love that you rendered it black and white, it suits the song so much more. The close-up shots really are a nice element. I admit that I am a newer Trekkie, entering the fandom with the new movie (though I find myself favoring Nimoy's Spock), and I wouldn't call myself a Spirk shipper as of now, but all these lovely fanvids may persuade me!

I agree with sisaofrost. This song is very beautiful when sung by Mrs. Mitchell"s voice. I think it has nothing to do with Mr. Spock or Cap. Kirk who were the prototype of real men ,not gays. If you accomodated the good , the bad and the ugly, they would appear the same way as here.
