Great video and love the photos. There is something particular about water on a clear umbrella in a black and white photo that is unique to Japan. My first love Olympus OM10 finally fried it's electronics on a very wet walk in SF in 2008. But it was worth all the wet walks before that. it now sits in dry retirement on the shelf awaiting the next camera to join it.
I never would have expected the TLR recommendation, but with those ergonomics it makes sense. I recently took out my Konica Genbakantoku during a downpour and took a few shots. Eager to see the results!
Thank you for the comment! Glad I could offer a different perspecitve! The heavy duty construction site style compacts have always looked really cool but haven't had a chance to use them myself. One day hopefully I can cover their history on the channel starting with something like the kowa uw 190 or possible other predecessors.
Hello and thank you for the comment. Unfortunately I've never had a chance to own or use the Nikonos myself but even so it did warrant a mention in this kind of video. If I get a chance to do something similar I will mention it and hopefully get a chance to use one at some point.
Thank you for the suggestion! The Nikonos looks like a very interesting camera but I havent had the chance to use one yet. If I get a chance I'll try it out in the rain.
Really nice video! Love the charm of rainy days. Great photos 👏

when I first played the video, I thought I was watching it at 1.5x speed 😀 great video though!
Nice video 👍🏻 I have the Nikon Action Touch AF. It's a really solid waterproof point and shoot
Thank you for the support!! Looks like a cool camera for all kinds of situations especially with the focus scale! If I find one I'll check it out!
@@TheWholePicture Yeah it's a fun camera, definitely worth a look!
How did you not mention the Nikonos?

Nikonos iii with a 35mm/f2.5 is great in the rain.
