      That's the problem of CPU benchmarks. They don't always use realistic use case configurations and they only test part of the story with the CPU. 1080p with a 7950x3d are you joking? It's not that easy to just put in cache like that. AMD is able to do it only because they developed a seperate technology to add more cache, and even then they are a lot of drawbacks to doing so. Plus hardware unboxed did a test which showed that Intel CPUs are less sensitive to high cache compared to AMD ones.

    1. Just gaming.
    2. Very powerful video card only (RTX 4080 or better).
    With a weaker video card, the difference is zero between the two processors, but the 14700K has double the performance in multi-core and is ~20% faster in single core. I've been playing in UHD since 2016. And I assume that very few people still play in the stone-age resolution of Full HD. That's why it doesn't make sense, because in high resolution it almost doesn't matter which processor is used and that's exactly why it would be interesting to see whether there is still a difference in UHD with these CPUs.

      Because Ryzen fan boys are too broke to buy expensive monitors, they're stuck in 1080p. I bought a 360hz 1440p oled and even that didn't do it for me, I got me a second monitor 4k fast ips, and the oled 1440p went back in the box 😂 FUK 1080P 😅😂😢

      @@DanRandyB0T But at 1080p the CPU difference is more noticeable than at 4K. That's why CPUs are meant to be benched at 1080p with a top end GPU to eliminate all GPU bottlenecks.

    • @DanRandyB0T
      @DanRandyB0T Месяц назад

      @@RaulMazuchelli based on what you said you might as well run cinebench then. The bottom line is ppl buying cpu GPU want to see what the fps is in a real life scenario, running those specs in 4K can still cause a degree of cpu bottlenecking but it’s less obvious to the eye. As the overall cpu looks like it’s all good but one of the cores/threads can hit its limit and cause a very small degree of bottlenecking. Otherwise based on your theory you could put any gen i7 over last few years or amd and the FPS will be identical because the GPU has bottlenecked and not the CPU, when we both know that won’t be the case.
