I feel like Aatrox should be nerfed by removing SUMMON heal and increasing world Ender to 15. This def would be enough. If it ain’t I think only a stat decrease on lvl up should be considered. What do you think
As he said, this deck often requires quite a lot of thought to pilot correctly. The one thing I dislike though are mirror matches. It feels like they're almost entirely decided by luck, plus the player who goes first has a clear advantage. So I hope this video doesn't increase the playrate too much.

Lurk was pretty much the first archetype I fell in love with when I saw Rek'Sai and Pyke when first entering the game, so to finally be able to master this deck with the help of your tutorial... gosh I needed it so much. It's absolutely top tier and I NEED to see more of these in-depth game plays
I already had a pretty good understanding of the Lurk deck, but this took my minimal knowledge and showed me what makes lurk so great. I'd also like to add that immediately after I ran this Lurk deck, I had a wild game with 2 Rek'Sais in the mulligan and drew the third along with a pyke. Only way I won that match.
Thanks for the amazing guide Snnuy! Lurk appears straightforward on the surface but there are a lot of subtleties to playing the deck correctly. Getting those insights straight from someone who really understands the deck is invaluable.
I can only recommend zapp in lurk decks. Being able to put pyke/rek sai on top is just so crucial. Also i would wish they would change the Dunebreaker. Its often a worse card than Xerxareth, while costing more. And great Intro Snnuy, have a lovely new year!

I felt the same way but forsaken baccai changed that entirely. Turn 1 predict and the fact you can predict + snapjaw on defending turn 3 (or 4) increased the consistency of the deck by an incredible amount.
Got to Masters the 2 last seasons (for the first time) with Lurk, not there this season yet though, great to see it covered. I'm shocked that you skip predicts, I always choose the best Lurk card that appears, except in late game if attack values are already so high it doesn't matter. Missing Lurk is so traumatic, missing it and knowing it's my own fault I would almost suicide. One question on what you say in the intro, would you never in any matchup keep champion+Call the Pack in your starting hand?

Had a game with turn one attack with xersai hatchling, turn 2 play snapjaw swarm, triggering lurk on both of these attacks. Then, turn 3 reksai. With a lurk trigger and no blocks, this is exact lethal after all triggers
I like 2 Jauls right now over the negation just bc Aatrox is a tough matchup, it’s another way to kill a board you otherwise can’t beat and games usually go till turn 8
I think there are so many powerful spells in the meta now (FTR, World Ender, Champion's Strength, Harrowing, etc) that 1x RoN definitely is justified. Almost every other Shurima deck includes it for a reason.
I feel like the right play in the last game was to call the pack and pray for some overwhelm, instead of playing the 6 since it wasnt leathal anyway. Great video tho😃👍
I think they need to adjust lurk, stop the dumb animation on the top of the deck (at least stop the enemy from seeing it) so some of the lurk cards can be used in other deck without alerting the opponent, and they can make pyke champ spell lurk too, and still be used in deck's like deep without alerting the opponent that you have the card. like it's literally just animation, and the opponent can see the attack buffs anyway, why is it necessary?
I will say I can understand people’s frustration with Lurk, but as somebody that’s new to LoR it’s a very nice starting deck as you do have to play around cards while also not having a very complex gameplay to follow.

Man id love for Khazix to be a lurk/evolve champ or Fid to be a lurk champ. Would also love Kha to have like "if I slay an enemy, grant me their keywords"
runeterra is hte only game wich can make me genuinly mad because it always feels like i can't counter the opponent , in practice im' just dumb, but lurk saved the game for me. because it's so OP ,especially in my bronze elo, i don't lose.
Lurk is a super cool deck. Shame it's so cookie cutter but still one of the OG's at this point. Never really struggled against it as ashe/LB is my 2nd most played deck for the last while next to viego decks.
always remember the fuckability order: 1. Rek'Sai 2. Any yordle female 3. Lillia 4. Any yordle male 5. Anything that isnt a bestia or targonian 6. Rakan 7. Targon creatures 8. Zoe 9. Any Ixtal protector 10. Anything else
I hit masters in a day with your lurk deck from plat 4. The idea is similar with you. i dont play my predict unit if they dont either have attack token or snapjaw swarm. Missing lurk is the worst feeling because they're so weak.
I'm curious, what is it that steals the attack token? I just had a game against a lurk deck where it was my turn to attack, then they attacked and I didn't get an attack. Is this a bug or a new buff to the deck? as honestly it seems a bit OP to get 3 attacks in a row.
- It's only good for Pyke and he's not as important to win games as Rek'Sai - Doesn't have Lurk - Only good when you use it BEFORE combat so you can put Pyke or Rek'Sai on top and proc them, but good players will hold their removal for during combat (unless you only have 1 minion but that's usually only on turn 1) - Opponent knows what card goes back to the top of your deck so it removes any playmaking It's definitely not BAD but it's uses are so niche that ruthless and rite are much better flex cards because they help Rek'Sai. Pyke doesn't actively win you games most of the time, he helps to stabilize and forces removal.
Hey thoughts on playing Lurk with some kind of burn as well? I find that the deck can sometimes fizzle out with very little enemy nexus HP remaining, so maybe that would be good?

I am extremely confused… I am very new and I had just made all the cards I needed for this deck because I like it, but I can’t play with it now because joul fish is out of rotation for some reason, what is rotation and what do I do now that I can’t use it? I already committed all my materials to make all this, what do I do? Please.
Ok now hear me out : in the translations : the lurk keyword is in fact lurker and states that lurker units gain +1 attack... Making it really confusing as to why you cannot give lurker to other unit...
I wish they would add a new lurk champion with some new followers in the future, I wonder what champion could be a good lurker besides Pyke and rek'sai though... What do you guys think

I got 50k mastery on Pyke and reksai its been my favorite deck since its dropped

Last time Pyke played fair he was demoted from Jaullfish Hunter to fish food, it's understandable that he decided to never do that anymore
