You’ve GOTTA get the Grinder on. Of course George is a legend in his own right, but knowing his love for hardcore - specifically straight edge hardcore - makes him an obvious candidate imo.
You'll likely never see this, but on the episode when you were building your dream bands, Bo was building his and he was deciding what to name his band. It was towards the end of the episode. Because he had Danzig in his band, Colin paused for moment, and then said "Danzig" as the name for his band, and you boys laughed real hard about that. I frequently go back to that moment and I laugh hard as well, every time. Love you boys.
I will never forget watching that episode for the first time and coming to the same conclusion as Colin mere seconds before he said it and losing my fucking mind when he did
As someone who lives on the other side of the globe, and forgets most of the states the boys listed, even I was like "I don't think they said New Jersey" I did forget Kansas though.
Jay and Vogel putting you guys on Hip Hop would be a great mini episode, Shane from The Killer, a bunch of minis from Outbreak, Todd Jones, I could go on
Friend of the show Andy "The Butcher " Williams talking about Atomic Rule. Bonus,a recap of Blissmas this weekend since Twitching Tongues is on the bill.
Can we talk about Tony Hawk for a second? That man’s success is responsible for not only how popular skateboarding is now, but how many people got into hardcore and counter-culture type music. Absolute legend.
Todd from Nails, kenny Hickey, kirk from crowbar, idk if u guys like acid bath and goatwhore but sammy duet would be awesome and he helped start crowbar so that's sick😂. My favorite show of the year was scott vogel im from buffalo and i was born in 87 so it was cool to hear the buffalo lore.
Title Fight, One Step Closer, Cold World, Mindforce, Superheaven, No Pressure, Backtrack, Touché, Turnstile.. some repeats, some new. Tried to keep them realistic
i am absolutely cackling at the fact that y'all completely omitted new jersey after colin had just talked about performing at the prudential center... which is in newark, new jersey
Mark Porter (Floorpunch), Mike Botti (Blind Justice, No Pressure, Regulate), Morgado (The Wrong Side), Corpsegrinder, George H. (Blacklisted) Would be cool interviews.
Sara from Entry/Lockslip, Xavier from Upon Stone/SOS Booking, Steph from Punitive Damage, Adam from Convulse Records, Graham Sayle from High Vis, Dylan from Full of Hell
Would like to see Doyle from Cloakroom/Nothing since he has been doing those plus filling in for Haywire. As for events, Hardlore should go to Anime Expo.
33:12 LCHC was on GTA 4 with Underdog, Sick of it All, Max Penalty etc. And it was Jimmy Gestapo hosting. GTA 5 was the one with Keith Morris hosting and bands like Circle Jerks, Black Flag and Fear.
Would love to hear another chat with Jamey. Only listened to the episode recently but he totally foreshadowed his comments about Hatebreed being support for some newer bands (KL) and would love to hear him talk more on that seeing as it's actually come full circle now.
33:18 the discjockey in gta 4 was jimmy gestapo from murphys law, and in the episodes from liberty city the discjockey was max cavalera, in gta 5 keith morris is the discjockey in radio X
Would love for you guys to talk to Steve Brodsky (Cave In, Mutoid Man) about the 25th Anniversary of "Jupiter" that is coming out in January. Obivously there's a ton of New England lore to be had there beyond just that album. UYHS talk would be sick as well.
Jacob Bannon, Roger Miret, Harley Flanagan, Tim Armstrong, Brian Baker, Brett Gurewitz, Jerry Only, Lou & Pete Koller, Malevolence, knuckledust (more UKHC) Civ & Walter, Gridiron, Mike Muir, me! (Worth a try!)
As im reading the comments i see a few names that i would love to hear from. But to start, another episode with COA. Elgin James, Rob Lind, Nick Jett, Jordan Posner, Chris Link, Pete Morcey
Loved the pet nicknames section, and am glad I’m not the only one. We have 5 cats, whose names all start with “S”, but none of them go by their actual names. Ex: Sebastian aka Floof, Soupy aka Beans
God bless hardlore, everyone. If you could get Frozen Soul, the surviving members of Power Trip, another Judiciary episode, Madball, Ingrown, Speed, surviving members of Type O, Max & Igor Cavelera, Obituary, Merauder, Momentum...so many possibilities
I’d love to have Nic from Forced Order/Harness on, a Soul Search episode where we can find out some info on the LP. I’d love to have Todd Jones on, a No Warning episode would be killer
speaking of "salvation" by the cranberries...i duno how long they been doin' it, but HAYWIRE on this last tour w/ TERROR & NEGATIVE APPROACH has been coverin' it.
id like to see people from the early 2000's metallic crazy type hardcore: ETID or better lovers, converge, eighteen visions, botch, cave in, deadguy, the warriors that type a shit

I lied it was from last year when you did the Hardcore Album Draft. At the 54:40 mark in that video. Just watched that moment again like 5 times.
I will never forget watching that episode for the first time and coming to the same conclusion as Colin mere seconds before he said it and losing my fucking mind when he did
Haha eh they’ll probs see it. They read it all. They’re real ones.
KIRK WINDSTEIN !!!!!
WOULD LEGIT BE THE BEST EPISODE EVER

Sad how far I had to scroll down to see this!
Screaming Kansas
Can't believe these posers missed new jersey 2 minutes after talking about the sopranos.
I was repeating to myself “Kansas and New Jersey” for way too long
As someone who lives on the other side of the globe, and forgets most of the states the boys listed, even I was like "I don't think they said New Jersey"
I did forget Kansas though.
Jay and Vogel putting you guys on Hip Hop would be a great mini episode, Shane from The Killer, a bunch of minis from Outbreak, Todd Jones, I could go on

I would love to see a Vision Of Disorder episode. Or some sort of VOD discussion.
Yeah I feel you. VOD was the first band I ever heard with scene roots. They were playing Ozzfest before the public ever knew who Hatebreed was.
Didn’t Earth Crisis and Neurosis also play very early on in first few years
you should've cut the falling for a cult conversation straight into an AG1 ad

Sound and Fury and The Good Good Tour were so fucking good.
Colin joining Terror on stage for Spit my Rage

Took me 30 years to get my mom to understand Death Metal it took , "Blood Incantation-Absolute Elsewhere" to get the job done.
